Holiday

I have 28 days holiday

And so far only taken 18 days holiday this year

Which logically if anyone can calculate would still leave me with 10 days

Yet Manpower say I only have 5 days

Obviously they can’t calculate

18 + 10 = ?

Manpower Missing Payments

I finish my job with Manpower company and I am still waiting on for my first week work money pay and I asked for it ever and ever again. The company where I was working already paid Manpower in January and I still don’t have my money. And we are speaking here about 4 full working days payment missing.

And also I didn’t get paid for the anual leave that I am entitled for and I have worked with Manpower for 4 mouths and didn’t use even 1 annual leave day.

I was told that I was being paid this week for my missing payments and yet another week just finished again and not a penny was dropped in my bank account.

I will return with another review and let you know how my history with Manpower ends.

Cant Even Tell You Pay Before You Agree To Contract

It was a very strange call I got from Proman asking if I still wanted a job I applied for. This is what happened.

A woman called me from Proman asking if I was still interested in a job I applied for, I asked for information on the job as I've applied for a few with different companies and not sure which this is. The lady huffed and said she needs to open another file for the information. A few seconds later, she starts to read the description of what the job is. When she stops I say "thank you but it's really the pay, hours and shift rota I need" she replied, and I'm still trying to get my head around this....."I don't have that information, you would have to accept the job to know that" and when I asked could they get the information and call me back because, im interested but I can't accept a roll without knowing what I'd be paid for it, she replied "no, this is all the information we have". So......they want me to accept a job offer, go to an interview..... BEFORE I know what hours/ pay / which days are on offer to work???

So to the company in Liverpool asking for FLT drivers.....I think the reason your short on staff is the agency your using.....I don't know anyone that would accept a job.....without knowing what you'd get paid for said job.

Face Interview Faults

On the telephone interview, which was the day before the face interview, was fine. I was accepted with the right telephone manner and requirements. But the face one was like a different company. The guy gave me a look as if I wasn't what he accepted, don't know why I look modern and young for my age. Then I ESS made to do a computer test on a laptop which I wasn't shown how to properly use ,and I havebot used a laptop like it before. I was told the computer wasn't working. This initially slowed me down, but I still managed to pass. Then I did a test, but the interview was not good as I could not apply STAR system to question on working in a team. Difficult.

But I really was not happy re being asked to give bank details prior to being told if I had the job of not. I did refuse SNF was glad of that. Enough information is given to them, we should not give bank details without being given the job. Manpower has shocked me , I also had to ask re holidays. I will not apply with them again. This was for Eon power.

I couldn't agree with you more. I had the most unbelievable experience with Manpower. After passing all their interviews, face to face, telephone, spelling (!), written and computer skills, they then questioned how I'd supported myself financially during an eight month period when I was not in work nor claiming benefits. They wanted to see documentary evidence to support my reasons. After refusing to supply this personal information and stating it was an unnecessary invasion of privacy I was called into the office two weeks into the contract. By then I'd had enough of this poorly managed agency and resigned.

I refused to attend my RBS job interview as I felt like I'm a piece of garbage. Man power set an interview for me to RBS. When I attended my interview to RBS direct they send me home as they not aware about my interview appointment. I called Man Power the agent on call not even apologized to me and they need to set another day for my interview. Having said that Man Power should inform me about cancelling my interview instead of wasting my time and efforts travelling to the venue. For me first impressions last and I know for sure If I need something about my holiday It's definitely a fight and a nightmare booking a time off.

Went To An Interview And Got Offered The Job In Pr

Went to an interview and got offered the job in principle based on credit check and CRB. I decided to check my credot report my self to see if anything could possibly stand in my way and to do this I used both Call Credit and Equifax who both showed no CCJS or bankruptcies. A lady rung me today to tell me I failed because I had lied to her about having no CCJ!? I explained to her that this was incorrect and she just argued with me and didn't even offer to look into it or or find me another job. Anyway the long and short of ot is she disclosed credit file info with verifying my identity over the telephone and then rest is as above.

Told I Had A Second Interview By Her Colleague

Went for first interview, went really well, company told me they would let my recruiter know within a week as they had a few others to see.

Phoned Manpower after a week, my recruiter was on holiday. Was told I had a second interview by recruiter's colleague as my name was on the board??, and she(my recruiter) would ring on the following Monday to arrange second interview. After no call on the Monday, rang back on the Tuesday, my recruiter told me she knew nothing about it as she had only just returned to work and she would get back to me shortly... Decided to go elsewhere in the mean time as didn't feel confident with her promises, oh and I'm still waiting for that return call two weeks later lol

Rude And Disrespectful

This is a horrible company to have to deal with. If you are looking for a recruitment agency and want to feel respected and valued don't even waste your time with these guys. I was treated like I was absolute garbage by the woman I spoke to on the phone and I will not be dealing with this company again.

Could Be Improved

Signed up to do HGV driver work was offered only van and an odd last stuck in a warehouse minute shift was also told I couldn't drive by someone. When there is obviously plenty of work find this to be insulting.

found them to be very slow to do anything also did not receive any holiday pay would only use again as last option. Agents preconceived about people, gossiping, ectr.. And if you sign up watch out for your holiday pay vanishing
