Hotpoint EW74P

love this cooker, looks great in my kitchen, fast heat up, especially the twin grill, cooks everything in a jiffy. one of the hobs is for either big pans or small ones which is handy. hob lights to tell if still hot, easy clean ceramic hob (i use hob brite and microfibre cloths) great price as discount code at dixons at time and was under £400. only downside and not really a problem is the grill pan handle is slightly flimsey but am used to it now. easy to install, has adjustable feet. have not used the timer yet.

I have had this hopoint EW74P cooker for 18 months during which time I have had 3 faults with it.

Fortunately I bought it at John Lewis and have been covered by there extended warranty of 2 years. John Lewis have been exceptional in helping me deal with Hotpoint.

I have found the service from Hotpoint particularly unhelpful.

On one of the faults, I explained that a particular part was broken and told them the specific part but their engineer called without a spare part and had to come back a second time to fit it!!!!

I will NEVER EVER buy another Hotpoint cooker and NEVER EVER buy any other Hotpoint appliance.

I cannot belive that in just over 18 months there have been 3 faults on a cooker costing almost £500.

Easy to clean, safety lights are great so when its off you know if the hob has been used recently or not therefor reduces risk of burns, easy to install,very good product all round. I love this cooker. Clean and economical, good features easy to operate low noise for a fan assisted oven.
