Guys come on this site to look for women, even if you have just a simple picture or texting without encouraging sexual behaviour. They are rude and childish to do this and quite predatory at the age of 37! One sent a pic Unsolicited and I should have reported him to the police. These guys likely to have sisters, daughters, aunts, cousins and act like this.

I made a profile.

After I spoke to several women my messages wouldn't send. I wasn't able to wink anyone. Women were not able to contact me. I was 100% certain I hadn't broken any guidelines so messaged customer service to ask what had happened and why are my messages not sending. Then day after my account was deleted. My female friend also on the dating site had told me of similar things happening to men she had spoken with.

Basically worst dating site ever. Read the other reviews! Should be shut down. Its just an ad revenue site for whomever owns it...

I joined last week .

No problems, lots of messages etc.

I went to log on the next day , says my account has been suspended.

I looked at the list, none of them applied .

I have emailed twice asking for an explanation.

I joined freedating.co.uk a few years ago. Come to think of it, it was a long time ago. We're talking 2015.

Anyway....

I met up with a man from there who seemed nice at first, and we had a brief relationship.

He started to act strangely and even become verbally abusive! I left before things escalated, as I suspected he would eventually become violent.

One of his ex's got in touch with me and told me she almost had him sent to jail. She warned me about him just after we broke up, and I reassured her we weren't together.

Turns out she wasn't the only woman who had taken him to court. There were a series of them who contacted me after she did!

Shortly before I deleted my profile, I found angry sarcastic messages from him. I changed my profile name and picture, and he continued to find and harass me.

I made the site admin aware of the whole situation (multiple times). They're aware he has a critical record and they're aware of the harassment, it was all there in black and white. Yet they did absolutely nothing!

For all I know he could still be on there now! Plus a lot of the members were older men or fake profiles. It's a very dangerous place for women, especially young women.

I am aware that not every older man is the same, just be careful who you meet.

freedating.co.uk is a dodgy place. Avoid like the plague!

Admins send out ominous eails warning what will happen if you indulge in "inappropriate behaviour", directed at men, while ignoring the fact that dozens of their female members are completely psychotic and hate men. Stay away from this place

First and foremost. You cannot express yourself in any adult way in the forums on Freedating, the forums which tend to be full of people so polarised in their viewpoints, it is as bad as the politics of this country and the hatred that comes with it is all to prevalant. Swear just once, and you get a 3 day ban. I seriously doubt that people actually meet on sites like this and expect to find their life long partner, and thanks to the forums every part of you and what you might believe in is scrutinised, so in the end there is no way forward. Basically as in real life, if you cannot pull down the pub, your screwed. Yes life really is that harsh, you cannot pull, then be become a nun or a bishop. I used to be quite up on various dating sites, now i am intimidated by them. Men basically want one thing, women want to put men to the test and have too many checklists to tick off. I don't know how the human race carries on to be honest. I am of the sort that could travel the world, sit in every bar and pick up not one morsel of interest. Nope dating sites, and this one in particular have just left me cold. want to pull a woman, then keep going down the pub. Dating sites, waste of time.

This site has people on it that never reply and who have the same pictures as theve had up for years

I joined 'Freedating' a while ago and haven't had one date!!, the forum can be interesting, but there can be a 'click' amongst members who have been there the longest!, I think it's run well for a free site, there are no hidden charges and the block button is handy!!, the chances of talking to someone local, tend to be slim and even though you set 'filters' as to who you receive messages from, anyone can still message you!, there are often 'group meets', where people meet for a meal, etc, which can be fun, but that depends on which one you go to!.many members don't have photos on their profiles and the site allows anyone to join (including people in a relationship, wanting fun/casual and married), i find it acts more of a 'social club', than a dating site, with many members saying they don't want to date!!, the site has recently had a 'facelift', which has made it much better, one problem i have found, if someone receives a rude message, etc and you contact the mod, action isn't always taken (they tend to say'if someone else complains, then action will be taken,), which is not good, if it's just you, they've abused!!, the best advice I can give to someone, thinking of joining is, go on there with an 'open mind' and see what happens

Problem with this site is there too many men in forties in fifties I'm only 25.

Freedating.co.uk is a Waste of time and effort to join the site, only very few people look like real profiles and even with the genuine ones it is sometimes hard to see if they are real people behind their profiles, I checked loads on google images and one of the fake profiles was using a dead persons photo of a indian man who was stabbed and bled to death in a carjacking situation in 2011, how sick and barbaric who ever the real person is using a photo from someone who has been killed. Some of the people on the site wanted phone numbers and email addresses straight away and a couple of profiles just wasting time just repeating the same topics over, other profiles used actors photos that showed they were also fake, the website should be shut down there are probably only about 10 people on the whole site that actually would like to go on some dates and it is such a shame the time wasters spoil it for the genuine people, I discovered all this only being on the website for three months would strongly advise people to meet potential partners offline and never to join any dating website just not worth the effort.
