Brands Hatch, Thistle Hotel Hotel

I have stayed at many hotels around the world, mostly on business and many have been 5* or 5*GL. Wanting to go to visit Bluewater, we decided to stay at The Thistle Hotel in Brands Hatch (just 5 miles from Bluewater). What a suprise, we expected a glorified Travel Lodge or something similar, but this hotel was just superb. The service from arriving to leaving was absolutely excellent, the rooms were just fine, comfortable and with all the usual stuff. What really amazed us was the food, it was just incredible more like you would expect from a top London Michelin starred restaurant. The presentation of the food on its own was enough to blow you away, looking more like a picture on a plate, you were reluctant to spoil it by moving it around. Eating the food was even better and I have seldom been served that kind of quality even in top class city 5* hotels. If you want to vist Bluewater or Lakeside or take a day out at Brands Hatch, you must, NO YOU REALLY MUST try this hotel. We went on a special deal, which included dinner & breakfast and I cant remember the last time I got that kind of value for money. Well done Thisle Hotels and the staff at the Brands Hatch location.
