Hair Falling Out In Clumps
I dyed my hair with Herbatint. I noticed a slight senstation.. maybe it could be described as a slight tingling. It was not a burning and not an itching...but I rinsed it out anyway. I don't think it was an allergic reaction. I have dyed my hair with soo many over the counter products for the past 20 years... dyed in salons... also used henna. Never had problems. Since I used Herbatint my hair has been falling out in clumps. CLUMPS - lots of hair loss. Every time I run my hands through my hair 10-15 strands will come out. It's scary. the shower drain clogs with clumps of hair each day i wash it. I am seeing balding on my scalp... where there used to be hair. It has changed how my hair lays... it looks so thin and scarce. I can see my scalp through my hair like a balding man. It is quite scary. I don't know how to fix this or how to get my hair to grow back. It is really upsetting. I will be going back to henna if I have any hair left after this.

Turned My Hair Into Straw And The Color Is Inky & Stinky
This dye is atrocious! I used it twice and the color is way too saturated--it has an ink like effect and it smells dreadful. I could taste the product in my throat! It destroyed my hair. It looked like straw. I used 6C which is a dark ash blonde and my hair is very brassy but at the same time it looks very coated-like ink when it drips on paper. This stuff has a horrid outcome! I had to have the damage cut off and the color corrected. They need to divulge what's in this product because it burned going on and it smells really weird.

First Time Use
My hair is quite long and always has been very healthy. It's for the first time I used natural hair colour in form of Herbatint. I noticed how it makes the hair feel different to conventional hair dyes and takes a week of two to feel soft again. It's been 5 weeks since I coloured my hair with this product. I'm happy with the colour and product and also had many positive comments from friends. I'm very pleased with Herbatint and will use it again.

Omg This Is Trash
This dye damaged my hair so bad. The tangles and matted hair is severe . I regret using this garbage. I am so upset and i wish i could sue. I emailed them more than once. I get 0 replies. What kind of company is this?? My hair is brittle and breaking off. Hair masks do not help. I cut almost 3 inches off . It is still a mess. Dryness is insane. Never have i tried a dye this bad in my life. Even 3 dollar dye is a million times better. I have to used huge amounts of detanglers and leave in conditioner. Idk what to do. This company needs to stop selling this garbage dye. On their site they claim their dye is not damaging but it is not true. Why are they not truthful??rubbish they are!! So angry

Awful Junk
Used it for years it was fine. Then i used it last year and i can not comb my hair or brush it. Used lots of hair masks, conditioner, coconut oil. Nothing helps. So dry and brittle. My long hair is now a lob. I had to chop it off. Still looks like trashy garbage. The company needs to take their complaints seriously. They don't care. So many women have damaged hair now. It is embarrassing. Depressing as well. Looks like i used a cheap dollar store dye. I am mad.
Omg yes me too. My hair is so terrible. Damage is severe. Makes me cry.i hate this company. Wish we all could sue.
My hair is ruined too

Herbatint
I have used herbatint and my hair is falling like crazy. It was supposed to be a herbal natural less damaging product. However, it turned our really bad.
I'm so scared especially that my hair is weak.
Horrible
After having my hair highlighted for many years professionally. I decided to try Herbatint. I used it as directed. After 5 weeks my hair has fallen out in massive amounts. I called them, no help, nothing. Something in this product is dangerous, stay away! It is a horrible experience.
Junk company for sure. My hair looks like trash .
So true. It ruined my hair too. Horrible company

Causes Hair Fall Out
Do Not use this hair color! The color looked great, however, shortly within a week of using herbatint my hair started falling out and has continued for a month now and I do not know what to do. The use of this hair color is all that coincides with hair fall out.It is not just a small amount. Every time I brush my hair, wash my hair, my brush or wide toothed comb is full of hair! I have used Loreal hair color for years with no problems and it had been 3 months since I had colored my hair. Therefore, no interactions.
Hair Falling Out!
I used Herbatint Herbal Hair Colour in violet about 4 weeks ago and straight away my hair began falling out. It's still coming out in huge amounts, I'd estimate I've lost about 1/3 so far. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!
Q&A
Colour is too dark. How can I lighten it please?
best natural way to remove hair colour?
I started using Herbatint when my regular brand caused me to have an allergic reaction.. I researched lots of brand but chose Herbatint as it was deemed as a safe product .. I did the patch test twice .. no reaction at all .. so went ahead with the colour .. everything was good no smell nice results even though my hair felt terrible dry until the conditioner went on .. I have continyto use the product for over 3 years .. once a month .so why this month after colouring my hair have I come out with red scaly patches on my face and around my eyes? Even my body feels itchy .. I am scared now to use it again as the inside of my mouth feel a little sore .. I have taken some antihistamine as advised by my doctor.Has anyone else had this problem?
I have dark brown/chestnut hair and I have been using Loreal Perfect 10 4G (Dark golden Brown) for many years. I am switching to a "cruelty free" permanent hair color brand. I'd love some suggestions on which colour(s) to use/mix to achieve my desired, natural colour.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
