Firstly, they failed to collect on the arranged day and the person waited in all day for them, apparently, they forgot, secondly they applied an charge of nearly 100.00 saying the parcel exceeded 140cm when it was in fact only 123cm

Parcel Shipped From Lon To Syd Gone Missing
A parcel containing 2kg of roasted coffee beans has been shipped from London to Sydney on 30 May 24. The tracking data shows that it arrived in Sydney and then to Welshpool WA on 11 June 24. 3 months later, the parcel has not been delivered to its recipient in SYD. Despite numerous email and phone calls to Interparcel and their local courier DAI Post, Interparcel fails to admit that the parcel is lost and at least refund the GBP 15 insurance cover. For weeks they keep repeating the same mantra that they are waiting for an update from the courier and carrier. If Interparcel fails to ship an item with such a trivial content, I wouldn't trust them with something more complex and expensive.
Do Not Use
I've used Interparcel quite a few times over the last few years but the second you have an issue, they are the worst company to deal with. Due to lack of a decent competitor, I have continued to use them but this is the last time. I sent a parcel with DPD, parcel didn't arrive, Interparcel are just completely ignoring my emails now, despite it being nearly seven weeks since I posted the parcel.
I left them a 1 star review on another website and received a phone call telling me how sorry they were and how it would be passed to the claims department, and yet here we are weeks later and they're completely ignoring all my emails.
They cannot be trusted with your money, do not use them.

Dpd Messed Up, Interparcel Ignoring Complaint
Sent a parcel to Austria with DPD. Lots went wrong, DPD messed up and parcel returned after a month. DPD pushed blame on recipient, Interparcel wouldn't follow up to conclusion, just said investigation completed; complaint people ignored emails. Wrote to customer service director, a month later still no reply.
BTW it started badly, they collected the parcel and brought it back here the following day. Had to rearrange collection. A previous parcel was refused due to 'banned items' but they could not tell me what was banned - just regular things. Had to pay an additional fee to change courier.
It seems if all goes well, then using Interparcel is fine. When a courier messes up, they do not follow through.

Terrible company, gives one price on the website, you pay- the goods are delivered and then they start sending invoices with extra payments For some fictitious services .They do this every time! Never ever use this company!!!!

Horrific Experience
Received an invoice 7 weeks after the parcel was delivered by ups, stating that it was oversized and I was due to pay them £76 in fees including their “admin” fee. I have learnt to cover myself from supposed charges by having a calibrated set of scales and a branded tape measure and took pictures of both. I enquired as to why it has taken so long for this charge, and also if they could show me some proof from ups about charges for it supposedly being oversized, which I know it wasn’t especially since the size of the item is a known quantity too as well as my photos. No one could answer my request for information about the supposed charges for size discrepancy or why it is so far down the line, so I have not bothered sending my pictures through, I suppose I should charge an admin fee for doing so! I think I have been a customer for somewhere in the range of 10-15 years, I would rather see them in court than provide information in what I see to be as false charges that may be some sort of sham as they cannot answer any simple questions regarding the matter.
Update: emailed them with pictures to prove that it was well within size limits, then told it was not boxed properly so that is why I am being charged, despite their invoice for charges stating it was oversized and emails too. This is now almost 10 weeks after delivery, and proven itself to be a sham charge as the reasoning has changed and they are unable to provide me of evidence of ups charges or a reason why it took 7 weeks. I will be charging them for my time for any future interactions as it is just a disgusting way to deal with customers by lying to them.
Sorry to hear you had the same experience. Glad I kept evidence of the size and weight of the parcel but I haven’t heard back from them in the past yeah. I had shown them this evidence and they then changed the reason of why I had the charges as to it wasn’t boxed properly and had shown me no evidence of charges from dhl, just a complete fabrication of charges. Customer was delighted with the item and the packaging, so just lies. Just checked my account and they haven’t removed the charges but I have since moved all my shipping needs to other couriers and not had any issues since. I’m holding on to any evidence and the same, happy to go to court as it is shocking they will try to claim for charges for one reason then the next. Hope you find happiness with another courier as I have and other people read our experiences and are steered away from bullying for non existent charges
They have just done the same to me, I have told them to provide me with a proof or return the item. If not we can go to court and I will be counter claiming for inconveniences and distress as well as attempt to defraud a customer
