Kodak Express

I called into this shop today looking to get a document printed. The gentleman in the shop was very friendly, patient with my bumbling fingers trying to email the document for printing and was very efficient.

I had no cash on me - does anyone carry cash these days? - and so offered to pay by card. The gentleman waived the fee and mentioned that it's 'nice to be nice'.

He restored my faith in the human race today - after receiving really bad customer service in two other shops prior to this one - my heart felt thanks and gratitude go out to him. Thank you sir. A true gent.

I ordered hi-res scans of my 35mm slides, took them home and found they'd been done in low-res. They'd also failed to colour correct and remove artifacts as advertised and requested. I took them back. The result? This time round they reveresed an image left to right, still didn't bother with colour correction etc but DID scan in ultra hi-res.

Went to have my baby's picture taken for British passport. Was overcharged £11 for 4 photos and when it was given to me on a small plastic, I had to ask a cardboard sleeve where they normally put the photos. When i checked online they were supposed to charge me £7 only and I paid £11 when i was supposed to receive 16pcs!! My baby was very calm that time and it was only one perfect shot. Disgusting people!!

I paid for passport photos and through the Internet and uploaded photos to them I asked for a receipt they never gave it. But they quickly took my money. They charged me for 1st class delivery and they never sent the photographs!. They just say they will send more. They are not to be trusted.

I know for a fact they've just taken the money and they now have no intention of sending them. I had a meeting at the passport office and now this has had to be cancelled and I can't get my Irish passport ? I think they may be tricksters.

I wish I had read some reviews before I paid them.

I sent a black and white spool to be processed and scanned to CD and the photos are all dusty and a couple have very visible finger prints on them! The finger-prints could not have been on the lens as the result would have been blurred out. A sharp focused finger-print directly on the lens is IMPOSSIBLE. Similarly, the dust, if on the lens would not be sharp dots but blurry blobs. There was also a hair on one picture and again this would be blurred. The dust, hair and finger prints were caused by incompetent printing.

Took cine film to Kodak Express Camden shop and was promised it back in DVD form for my husband's birthday. Came back in time but when we put the DVD on on his birthday the DVD was blank! Shop asked me to send it back with the cine film, didn't offer to pay for the £10 postage fee. It took a over a month of chasing up and several phonecalls before the goods returned, thankfully in good working order this time. I did get a refund for postage after 2 requests but I was not impressed at all with the slack service and I won't use them again.

Gave Kodak Express a Kodak gold 200 and the photos came out washed out. I'll never ever use them again.

I mailed Kodak Express in Camden some black & white and colour professional film for scanning to CD and printing. The high resolution scans were excellent, and the print quality was fantastic. Job well done!
