They do not show your credit report have problems logging in can't reset password and take your money do not use!

I have used the others in the past, Experian etc but went for the month's trial with CMF and was so impressed with the wealth of information they provided I am now a monthly subscriber.

I am looking to apply for a mortgage in the not too distant future and I feel this site will be invaluable to me in achieving this. Times are hard obtaining credit in the current environment and this site is your ally in getting the help you need.

For me - thoroughly recommended.

I first used CMF in June 2013 by taking advantage of their free 30-day trial and was surprised by the comprehensive nature of the reports. However, I did not want to subscribe on a regular basis and so I cancelled before the trial period ended, fully expecting to have to argue with them. Not so, I received an auto-answer to my secure message confirming cancellation and that no payment would be taken.

In May 2014, I asked for another report by activating my 'dormant' membership and paying the monthly subscription, and once again I cancelled before the end of the month. Once again, the auto-acknowledgement came with the same assurances as before. I have repeated this process this year in April 2015.

It is important to me to have a once-yearly 'snapshot' of my credit files and this is precisely what I get from CMF without any hard sell or hassle.

Their reports are comprehensive and grouped under headings on the Home page. If I hover over any item, a pop-up box gives me an explanation of the item.

I could not ask for a better service.

This is a fantastic site, offering an excellent service. It is super easy to understand and everything is clear and concise. I highly recommend this to my friends and family and indeed anyone wanting to check their credit file. There is nothing about this site that I dislike. It is professional, very friendly and extremely helpful. I cannot fault it at all.

CheckMyFile is easy to use, provides comprehensive information on your credit repot, and has a very easy to understand user-friendly website.

Ive used experian and others , but switched to check my file over a year ago - love the facility to suspend membership and do it all through website rather than having to call to cancel etc.

So thankful it sends reminders to log back in - as a problem had arisen due to my address being named differently on electoral role versus every other company.

The team answered all of my questions and were very supportive of my situation. They checked issue out, explained why there was an issue and more importantly provided detailed steps to resolve the issue . Cant thank them enough my issue is now well on the way to being corrected within 2 weeks.

The terms and conditions are made really clear from the start. I got instant access on signing up, which was really wasy to do. Once inside I got a clear 14 page report telling me much more than I expected. It showed detaield results from 3 agencies side by side. It was so easy to understand. I decided to cancel as my circumstances are not likely to change, I receieved a notification immediately acknowledging and giving me a reference number. You can still access the file as it is saved, but no longer updated. Wonderful and didn't cost me a penny! If only all companies worked this way.

Hi, i have been with Equifax, Experian and decided to joing Check My File.

Checkmyfile is much better than the other two, it holds more detailed information, it even shows you which accounts appear on the other two agencies. i joined up in about ten minitues and all of my information came through with no issues, everything was up to date, even a credit card that i had opened around 2 weeks ago.

with experian, when you wanted to cancel you had to telephone a customer serivce number, and when you wanted to cancel, the person on the telephone would ask you why you were cancelling, and try and reduce your monthly charges from £15 a month to £9.99 a month. the same with equifax, it was a hassle to cancel with them, i cant remember their charges though.

with checkmyfile, i opened the account and seen everything was up to date and i was happy with it, i then wanted to cancel (becuase im not thinking of taking out anymore credit in the near future, but when i do go for a mortgage i will most definelty be using this agency)i used the websites secure messaging system and messaged them asking to cancel, they personally wrote back to me thanking me for using theyre service and for the kind words id left them etc... it was not a robot auto response but from a human, which was really good in my opinion.

the monthly fee with check my file is £7.99 as apposed to £14.99 with experian, half the money for twice as much information is a no brainer. very happy with them.
