Wish I Had Found This Page Before I Got My Kitchen !

Never again will I get any thing from MFI if I had found this page before we got our kitchen I would of gone some where else ! We spent a lot of time saving for a nice new kitchen and what we ended up with makes me sad ! I feel it will not last very long .

I Bought All My Kitchen Furniture From Mfi Last Ye

I bought all my kitchen furniture from MFI last year. The design from MFI left me the big gap in the joint point, of which they advised me to buy that small unit from other supplier, as they don't have this product. I couldn't find it from other supplier, other other suppliers units compact with their own product (color or style), not for MFI. I spent over £4000 for the furniture from MFI, they left my kitchen a big flaw: a open gap in the joint My boil size is 40x70, they ordered me 60x95 door to box the boilerI only needed a drawer door to cover the space, but they ordered me the whole drawer setMy advice is to be careful when your order, as I ended up paying for units I didn't actually want. And once I received the units, I had no right to return them backI wouldn't recommend any one to buy MFI's product - In my opinion not value for money.

Mfi Claim To Have Incredible Sale Prices, But Don'

MFI claim to have incredible Sale prices, but don't be fooled by this. Their prices seem expensive to start with. The finishing parts you need such as cornices, light pelemts and plinths aren't generally in the sale. £55 for a plain piece of flat plinth - see what I mean? Worktops are overpriced - buy elsewhere.

The kitchen units themselves are OK, though why they supply different looking hinges for some cabinets is a mystery.

The paint finishes on doors and end units are not particularly hard-wearing - they mark easily, which is disappointing.

Was Easy To Find And Get A Plan Drawn Up And Able

Was easy to find and get a plan drawn up and able to arrange someone to fit through MFI unlike the other places I had tried all of which would supply the kitchen but no-one to fit it!

The fitters had to be paid separately and directly by cheque or cash, apparently this can be sorted through MFI - I was told by the salesman when I signed up, but when I called and even went in store to sort this out he was busy and the person I spoke to looked at me as if I could not be understood. I had to pay the vast amount of money to the fitters direct, really difficult when I had just paid MFI their huge amount too!

I Would Never Recommend Mfi To Anyone. We Ordered

I would never recommend MFI to anyone. We ordered a bathroom for which the initial cost was £7500! It is a tiny bathroom needing a shower, toilet, basin and one small cupboard. After application of the sale deal they charged me £4600. After we paid the money, I felt the problems started. They told me an installation date after weeks of me chasing them, only trouble was they didn't book it with the fitters. So more delay meantime I am without bathroom and no apology.

They have a customer charter which says if they make a mistake and don't send your items or it is faulty but you don't notice they charge you again! So I had to unwrap everything even big heavy stuff to make sure you spot anything missing or broken. We had really big glass panels for the shower so you can see the problem if you are single handed or not too mobile.

I struggled to get hold of the store. Then to make matters worse the fitters advised we had another pump as the one supplied wasn't adequate and they are quibbling about a refund. I will never again buy anything from them.

Dealing With Mfi In Our Experience Was Certainly N

Dealing with MFI in our experience was certainly not one of our

wisest decisions. We are certainly unable to recommend them as a company of either reliability or integrity from our experience. Good fitting, very poor customer service.

After Purchasing A Kitchen From Mfi Kitchens Last

After purchasing a kitchen from MFI Kitchens last summer the fitter pointed out several faults/damage with encouraging words that these items have been re -ordered. Ha, after waiting 6 weeks one item arrived which was also badly faulted. After numerous call to shop and wanting to speak to a manager which were non- existant as several had left after a short amount of time with company, it was deemed by MFI that the said faulty items was all down to wear and tear. MFI have said this as this particular kitchen is no longer available and they do not want to replace the kitchen. In my case they have contravened the sale of goods act and the whole matter is in the hands of the furniture omnbudsman. Shame on you MFI for how you deal with customers and I cannot reiterate strongly 'not to buy from MFI'On a last note I cannot understand why damaged/faulty goods were fitted in the first place.

I Am Hoping I Will Eventually Be Happy With My Kit

I am hoping I will eventually be happy with my kitchen but I will never use MFI again and certainly NEVER recommend them to anyone. We have been over a week without a fridge/freezer, sink and work surfaces apart from cupboards with no doors etc. Customer service is very poor. They blame other departments etc.

The Adage 'buy Cheap, Buy Twice' Is Still On My Mi

The adage 'buy cheap, buy twice' is still on my mind and seems appropriate to the MFI Kitchen we got. I advice you not to take MFI's expensive 'extended warranty' out since the sale of substandard equipment is covered by law. Instead my advice is to buy using Visa to extract Consumer Credit Act rights. Meanwhile, MFI are hoping that I will install a proposed replacement myself since 'it will cost more to fit it than the item' - but that is hardly the issue here!

I too took out an extended warranty and was told it didn't apply when we complained about faulty items. We were told to take up our concerns with the manufacturer of the actual kitchen because MFI choose to do nothing about our problems with substandard kitchen units.
