No Log Book

I purchased a vehicle from Lex Vehicle Leasing - previously on Lease from them to another company and I paid LEX £28800 for the vehicle. I have the vehicle and the two keys. Lex Vehicle Leasing Ltd would not send the log book until the funds had been received. Funds sent on the 9.3.2022 by immediate payment and confirmed by them the same day. Log book still not issued on the 12th March, so 40 minute phone call on the 13th and they said it has been sent to us on the 13th March. 2 weeks later no log book. On the 24.3.2022 complaint registered and I was not able to speak to the department that issue the log books. We can only email them. The complaint can take 8 weeks to respond. So I have paid £28800 for a vehicle I cannot use for a minimum of 8 weeks, because LEX have lost the log book. Plus you cannot speak to anyone directly - you have to email - which they do not respond to. FARCE

Avoid Lex Autolease At All Costs!

I'm afraid so many of the other reviews on here are accurate. I took out a lease 3 years ago and arranged collection this week. Ahead of collection I had the car checked out by a body shop expert and had a few minor pieces of wear and tear taken care of at the cost of £300.

The vehicle was collected yesterday, and I have now received a bill for over £1100, most of which is for replacing the passenger side front door panel. Allegedly there are 3 small dents on this panel, none of which are at all visible with the naked eye and all of which are under the 15mm allowed under the guidelines, but Lex Autolease are trying to charge me £970 for a new door panel. Absolutely ludicrous.

I have emailed and phoned to complain, but I'm getting nowhere. Don't use them!!

Lexautolease Fraudulent Invoices Upon Lease Completion

Lex

I must stress my disappointment recently with a fraudulent invoice for £500 I received from Lex auto lease, the invoice lists the two items below for leased Jaguar XE. Vehicle was collected on Jan 2019 upon lease completion. If I had known the leasing company used by Synergy was to be LEX auto lease I would not have proceeded with my agreement 2yrs ago.

· Bumper multiple areas scratched

· Missing Service History.

When the vehicle in question was collected by the driver on 28th Jan 2019 the vehicle was in excellent order, with a recorded mileage 19,922 which is under my 2yr 20k lease agreement. There was no damage to the bumper when collected, nor was the service history missing. The collection driver took photos and agreed that the car complied with fair wear and tear policy and nothing was highlighted at collection, if there had been these two items or any other issue above I would have cancelled the collection and would not have let the driver take the vehicle until resolved. I have dated photos to prove its condition and mileage when collected.

I have reported the company to bvrla , watchdog and the ombudsman, matter is now with legal dept.

This Company Should Be Investigated By The Financi

This company should be investigated by the financial ombudsman.

I recently returned a leased car to them in mint condition; even the person picking up the car was saying how good the condition was.

A week later an invoice to the tune of £600 comes in for two dents that miraculously appeared. On further investigation it looks like Lex Vehicle Leasing has a habit of doing this to their customers.

I currently seeking legal representation to see where I stand and I will not be using this company again. I advise everyone to stay clear of them.

Worst Company Dont Use

Sadly my lex leased new volvo v90 was written off after a RTA which was the fault of the other driver hitting me from the rear while i was stationary. After the shock and relief that we werent hurt and the other party admitting full liability i thought great a new car would follow or full repayment for a replacement. But mow 8 weeks later and 4 weeks after lex were paid by the third party insurers i am now faced with a barrage of threatening letters and a £4000 bill !! .Over the 8 weeks and over 40 emails 25 telephone calls and 10 different people and 3 departments that LEX are the worst company i have dealth with. please please think twice.

If I Could Have Rated No Star I Would Have.

Agree entirely with previous reviewer.....having returned a pristine Volvo to lex autolease I was suddenly sent a £200 bill for a bonnet dent - there categorically was no dent in my bonnet! Fictional and in my opinion fraudulent charges - ripping customers off. TOtally untrustworthy do not do business with them.
