They are cheaper than their competitors BUT this comes at the cost of the worse kind of customer service when things go wrong. DO NOT RISK YOUR MONEY WITH THEM.

I bought a camera from them & took it on holiday whereupon it kept freezing. You cannot contact them by email or online form, which is against the Consumer Rights Act. Eventually I found I could contact them through Facebook Messenger but often they just ignored my messages.

As the camera was faulty & less than 30 days old, I requested a refund or brand-new replacement.

When I sent it back to them, they tried to state that there was no fault & would have to send it to Olympus for further testing, even though I had sent them photos & video evidence of the fault.

Eventually I got my money back via my credit card & Olympus apologised on their behalf though the whole process took several months to finalise.

Ordered way in advance as we were going on holiday. Heard nothing for nearly 2 weeks. Phoned them and they tell me it is still with them. I thought in 10 years they may improved but no. Still shocking service.

Very helpful staff in guiding me along the way in setting up a remote trigger kit which I can now use at my caravan so far I have had some excellent results and also some not so good which was my fault not the Captur pro kit.

I would highly recommend Bristol cameras.

What made it even better was the cost and I could not beat it searching the internet.

I liked the build of the product which even had a rubber protector to all pieces of kit

I was looking for a trigger kit to photograph in the main wildlife at my caravan on the river swale at Topcliffe and rang Brisol Cameras, who gave me advice over the phone after telling them my needs and my camera models they suggested the Hahnel Captur pro and the equipment i would need they advised me so i bought the kit i have tried it out and it works well and i have taken some good shots and some bad shots, the bad shots are my fault not the Captur pro, we all have to learn with new equipment.

I would recomend Bristol Cameras for the advice given and the very good price of my goods i could not find them cheeper on the internet.

Having tried other film processing services it's clear that most are fairly equal in terms of getting film developed and scanned but what sets Bristol Cameras apart is the fact that for the same cost (or less) as other services they offer more.

Getting my film developed and returned as well as being receiving not only the scans in high resolution files on a CD but a handy contact sheet for each roll of film is extremely good value for money. Most places offer scans on CD as an optional paid extra, Bristol offer it as the bare minimum.

The phone helpline was friendly and helpful.

Film arrived within 24 hours of dispatch notice, from Bristol to Glasgow. Definitely going to use this service in the future.

The Velbon PH-157Q is an excellent tripod head with horizontal and vertical movement through a single lever, which my wife prefers over the several other, more expensive, heads I use, particularly for a spotting scope. My previous one wore out after some heavy use and I've surrendered, to her delight, to replace it.

The good price attracted me to Bristol Cameras, and delivery was prompt with excellent packaging. I was particularly pleased that the package included an option of fitting to either 1/4 or 3/8 tripod connection.

My purchase from Bristol camera got delivered in less than 24 hours from order, and quick and excellent service over the phone too before I ordered the item. I will be buying from them again.

The price was also good, they were the cheapest when I ordered out of all the google shopping sites.

Good clear fitting instructions and subsequently easy to fit and does what it says on the box. Recommended fitment for Sony Alpha A57,A65 and A77

Bristol Cameras is my local camera shop and I couldn't fault the service in store. The store is quite small but they keep a reasonable range of products in stock but they can get most items within a day or two no problem. The staff are knowledgeable and polite and the dog is very friendly as well! They have recently added a photo lab in store which means I no longer have to order prints online which is a bonus. Overall I would definitely recommend Bristol Cameras to any of my friends and family.

Ordered an accessory for my new sony action cam with bristol cameras as it is the cheapest place to buy it I could find on the net.

I enquired about another item not listed and after a quick phone call, this was soon added to their inventory.

Stock and order updates were prompt and frequent until the order was completed.

Customer service couldnt be better.

Prices couldnt be beaten.

Excellent website. (Though I think an email for enquiries would be helpful.)
