Was An Alright Stay
travelled june 2012
considering i paid a little over £100 to go on a one week holiday to be honest i was expecting a disgusting hotel. nut in all honesty it wasnt that bad.
on arrival you have to pay 50 euros, your not told this before and you have to surrender your passport. + because of this it took like half hour to check in!
breakfast is only till 10am which is annoying and only consists of bread, chese, jam, butter and a hot drink.
the room is very basic but its clean and for so cheap cant complain.we was on the third floor and our balcony was over looking the pool. they start playing music around 1pm and don't turn it off to midnight, abit annoying but shut your door you cant hear it that much. and the pool gets pretty lively pretty quickly so get down there early to secure your sun bed. there's too pools a big one and a little one and they are kept relatively clean.
our room got cleaned twice over the week we was there + the shower is not very strong but you still get to wash so whats the problem?
reception staff are polite but charge for everything (30cents to call a taxi)
the rooms do get boiling hot though, and being in ibiza opening the balcony door does nothing if not make you more hotter and you have to pay for air con (we didnt as we heard it was a shambles so opted out). the bar staf are nice though and the food is nice and cheap. theres wifi in the lobby/bar area too.
theres a shop at the end of the road which is okay priced but spar a couple minutes down the road is cheaper if your on a budget.
food shops etc all on the main road so it really is good location
the beach is about a 15-20 minute walk and the main night life, ibiza rocks, eden etc is not even an extra 2/3 minutes away from that.
taxi back from the clubs/beach is 7/8 euros (so if theres 4 of you, 2 euros each :-))
overall a good cheap hotel to stay, if your looking for somewhere to crash while you sober up for the next nights events this is the place for you. if your looking to relax and read a book erm......
basically you get what you pay for, if you want more pay more.
:-)
note: do not buy from the 18-30 reps on the first nightm you will ALWAYS find somewhere selling cheaper, if not free on the beach :)

Hotel Apolo Is A Very Basic Hotel. Staff Are Very
Hotel Apolo is a very basic hotel. staff are very friendly. pool was too small, got busy very quickly and not enough sunbeds for everyone. breakfast was only roll and cheese/ham. didnt bother to go for breakfast. you are right beside located houses, all music has to be turned off for midnight. security guard also pain, shines torch on your balcony if he hears noise coming from your room. quite a far distance from west end and most decent restraunts/pubs etc. rooms are very warm, as there is no air conditioning. had loads of ants, and shower wasnt very nice. cleaners came in about every 3days to clean. cleaned well. ok for my first holiday, but wouldnt go back.

We Booked The Hotel Apolo, San Antonio Holiday As
We booked the Hotel Apolo, San Antonio holiday as a late deal, so weren't expecting anything other than a basic hotel. The rooms are very basic...you have your beds, wardrobe and bathroom and that's it! But they were spotless. The pool has a good atmosphere but got busy quite quickly so go down early to grab a sunbed. The breakfast is toast/breadroll/ham/cheese and we learnt to love it! Saved us having to pay for one less meal each day. The bar and reception staff are all lovely and extremely friendly. The food and drink at the bar was also well priced too. There's two restaurants across the road from the hotel, go to the second one for dinner you can get a three course meal for 9euros and it's really good! The only negative point about the hotel is that it is a bit of a walking distance from the main west end, but other than that...if you're going to party all night and sunbathe all day...the hotel is perfect!

I Stayed In Hotel Appolo And Thought It Was Awesom
I stayed in hotel appolo and thought it was awesome. The staff are really friendly and are always looking out for you. The food was pretty good and good value for what you got, the pool was always rocking through the day and everyone got along with each other. The cleaning staff where nice and cleaned the rooms every second day, the security gaurd was always friendly and made sure you got in your room ok. There is no air conditioning but you can request a fan for your room. The breakfast is only served from 8 till 10 and its only a roll and cheese but i suppose thats enough to get you started in the morning my overall experience from this hotel was great and i would recomend staying there to anyone.

I Wouldn't Recommend The Hotel Apolo, Because It H
I wouldn't recommend the Hotel Apolo, because it had a discrete smell of cabbage, even though the breakfast was delicious and the people were nice. The pool was tiny and dirty and there was no fridge to keep my ham in. Whilst getting your hair wet by immature ravers around the pool side area, i got pushed in by one, my hair turned into a 'fro.

I Read The Reviews On This Site Before We Decided
I read the reviews on this site before we decided to go and the only thing I'd add which I would've liked to have known beforehand is that the morning after you arrive you have to attend a welcome meeting. It contains a little bit of information but is 99% geared up to try and sell you trips and tickets. We were given the impression that if you didn't book it that morning then you wouldn't be able to go and plus the Reps made them sound a lot better than they actually were. My advice would be to hang on have a chat to other people around that have already been on the same trips, see how you feel before it leaves as you can pretty much buy tickets a couple of minutes before you leave to go on the trip.
