Prestigious Name With No Skill Or Service From The Top Down

My watch was put in for a repair and suffice to say that the repair did not work. This was not related to the complex workings inside, but simply to the strap retainer. A simple mechanical affair. This was returned to them repeatedly as they said it was fixed and quite simply it was not. I can safely claim that they have no mechanical skill, since this was attempted on four yes FOUR (4) occasions and then it still failed.

On the last occasion I had escalated this to director level and when this started to show signs of less than great customer service I escalated this to their MD who did precisely nothing.

The worse part to this affair is that they have never said sorry or even apologised for their lack of skill, not even when I invited them to do so after the fourth failure...... at Director level.

This company fails from the top down.

How do they manage to maintain such a supposedly prestigious name?

Pretty But Much Lighter And Smaller Than On The Picture

The Tiffany Infinity bracelet in 18k gold was on my Christmas wish list and my husband bought it for me. When it arrived, he exclaimed : "Is this all there is to it? That cost a lot for what it is!" If it hadn't been a present, I would have returned it. The chain is very thin and flimsy and looks a lot lighter than on the picture on the Tiffany website. The infinity symbol is nice and well made but the chain looks cheap. I wish I'd known the weight of the jewel or even seen it worn on a woman's arm.

I really regret choosing this and feel that the image on the website is in no way representative of the actual jewel.

Because I feel cheated by Tiffany, I won't buy from them again. I bought from them because I thought that would give me a guarantee of good quality and that I could trust them. I was wrong.

I Have Been Messed Around On Several Occasions By

i have been messed around on several occasions by this company, i ordered a pair of earrings for my girlfriend and within a day the money was out of my account. ten days later i get an email saying it couldn't be delivered! no explanation whatsoever as to why! the address was correct and there was somebody there every day. so naturally i emailed them asking to explain themselves, i got a very roughly drafted email reply 2 days later with no explanation just asking when my last possible delivery date is! nothing else not even an apology! i clearly stated i need them before a certain date as my other half was wearin them to a wedding. i have yet still to recieve an eamil back. i am going to wait two more days and then claim a refund which will undoubtably be hard work. i will then be contacting trading standards as the service is disgracefull for such a well established company! and will never use them again and i strongly suggest anybody reading this not to bother with this website.

I Knew My Girlfriend Was A Big Fan Of Tiffany Jewe

I knew my girlfriend was a big fan of Tiffany jewellery and I was keen to purchase something for her from their website. I purchased Elsa Peretti's Diamonds by the Yard Necklace with 0.05 Carat for £220.

Pros:

- Next-day despatch and very quick delivery (even though I didn't pay for next-day delivery)

- Excellent website with plenty of information.

- Beautifully packaged with the Tiffany blue box and ribbon.

Cons:

- Images on the website can be misleading. It would be useful if they also took photos of the jewellery on models.

- You are paying a very large mark-up for the Tiffany name. It would be absurd to pay this price for such a small diamond on a silver chain anywhere else.

Overall, it was a good purchase and my girlfriend was delighted with the necklace. I will not be buying an engagement ring from Tiffany however, although I would if I could afford it!

Purchased This Necklace As A Birthday Gift For A F

Purchased this necklace as a birthday gift for a friend, it arrived the next day so no problems with service. However, it arrived ribboned up and packaged so I saw no need to check the contents and disturb the pretty wrapping, but I wish I had, I gave the gift to my friend in front of her other friends and the contents were shaken from the little blue bag and the necklace was TINY, the chain was 9 inches long as described but quite fragile and the pendant was smaller than my thumbnail (I'm female and have normal size hands)!, it measured 10mm accross, it was like something you would give a child, the chain itself was so thin that my friend thought she would break it if she tried it on, I was so dissapointed and embarrassed that I immediatly said'whoops, they sent the wrong item, I didn't order that'...I'll exchange it for the right one. The picture and description on the website gave no hint to the actual size of the item, the picture is large and in great detail, I never thought for a moment it would have been representing a chain so thin or a pendant so tiny, so be careful, ask for a fuller description if you call, check the size of the pendant.

This Was My First Venture Into The World Of Tiffan

This was my first venture into the world of Tiffany and certainly will be my last.

I purchased a necklace from Tiffany.com on 17th December, their website asuring me delivery by Christmas. Christmas day, still no necklace. Today, 30th December, having not received my item I called them.

Apparently, my item had been delivered to the wrong address, they'd been contacted, it had been processed and was awaiting reshipping and should reach me sometime next week, in the beginning of 2010 (a little late for a Christmas present!) When I suggested they should send it by next day delivery SUDDENLY, it's already been dispatched!

I then get a call two hours later telling me it hadn't been dispatched but that the item I bought, was delivered to the wrong address, returned, reshelved and sold to someone else and now they are out of stock.

With such blatant disregard for me as a customer I personally would rather spend any money elsewhere.

I Actually Came Across Www.tiffiany.com Last Valen

I actually came across www.tiffiany.com last Valentines Day. I was looking for a nice piece of Jewellery for my girlfriend and having just returned from New York where she was spoint for choice in the Tiffany Jewellery store I thought this would be a great reminder of our holiday and be a great Valentines day Surprise for her.I ordered from their site, immediately got an email confirming my order and expected delivery day. It was delivered ontime and was very much appreciaited. Tiffany Jewellery is a great present and its something a little different to what you might find on the high street. Sure, your paying for the name but you get a great quality product and I got a very happy girlfriend.
