Do Not Machine Wash Mattress Top
I purchased a Tempur Cool Touch mattress in September 2018. I put the top, Cool Touch part in the washing machine as per the manufactures instructions. When I removed it from the washing machine it had two holes in it, caused by the zip. On contacting Tempour about this I was told it was not a manufacturing fault therefore the best they could do was to sell me a new Cool Touch top at half price.
This is the manufactures fault because they said it could be machine washed when clearly it can not, but they will not replace free of charge.

Tempur Cloud I Wouldn’t Have Anything Else Now
I have owned a Tempur cloud mattress & divan set for over 7 years now and I wouldn’t to sleep in any other bed now. The first night we slept well. Although, at first we both had issues turning over in bed, because you sink in the mattress, it sort of traps you or is it cradles you. However, after a month or so all issues we had vanished and we sleep soundly every night now. I suffer from a childhood form of arthritis and prior to purchasing this bed I was desperate for a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed.
I would say only get the mattress don't bother with the divan base get whatever suits your taste, room, style, pocket etc.
Tempur Cloud 27
Had a comfortable memory foam mattress for 13yrs but was time replace it. Bought a middle priced sprung mattress with gel and base from Dreams but was hard and uncomfortable so returned under their guarantee. Decided to have memory foam again. Salesman talked us through various mattresses including Tempur Cloud 27.He assured us it is 'like sleeping on a cloud' We bought the Tempur cloud 27 for £2300 on finance. Its so uncomfortable but thought we needed to give it time, got no better. Went back to the shop but didn't get anywhere. Its really uncomfortable and really hot. Neither of us had back pain before we got this mattress and now neither of us get decent sleep. Takes all day for the pain to go sometimes have to take ibuprofen. Don't look forward to going to bed and still paying for it. Don't know what to do now, cant afford a new mattress, needless to say wish we never got this awful mattress & would NOT recommend. would give no stars if possible

Allergies?
We bought our Tempur mattress from Dreams, thinking we were making a good investment. I sleep on my front and felt like I was being held down by something, I just couldn't turn over, even had difficulty trying to get out of the bed, sweated dreadfully, so bought a Tempur mattress cover, no help at all. Bought two Tempur pillows, couldn't use them, at £86 each. So.....I now sleep in the spare room. My husband still sleeps on the bed and has been diagnosed with COPD, and I'm convinced that this goddam mattress has had an impact on him. Could I be right ? Anyone on this forum got any ideas?

Don't Buy
We purchased a Tempura memory foam mattress about two years ago, quite expensive but we figured that if it lived up to the hype then it would be worth it. All was okay for a few months but then I started waking up during the night sweating, then every morning I started getting a very stiff back which would wear off after about 30 minutes moving around. I find that trying to turn over in bed is like going to the gym, you need some effort to overcome the "dents" in the mattress. Finally though have found a solution, we have turned the mattress over so that the memory foam is facing downwards, this will have to suffice until such time that we get a conventional mattress. Very expensive tat.
We have had three temper mattresses over the past 16 years and the first one failed due to a similar problem to yours.
I suggest you contact the retailer in the first instance or if not available Tempur as if it is a fault and they should inspect and replace the mattress.
Worth taking up with retailer as generally the mattresses are satisfactory although can get hot in the summer as retain your body heat.

Great Mattress
After reading the bad reviews regarding Tempur Cloud mattress I am very surprised as this is the third mattress I have had in as many months and I have found it to be the best. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am in constant pain but needed a new mattress. After buying two very very uncomfortable well known brands I decided to try a Tempur. Needing support and softness at the same time to ease all my joints this is the mattress for me, you sink into it just enough that my joints are cushioned but are supported at the same time, wonderful! It is slightly warmer but not a great issue and have had no problems with the 'new' smell. I agree it's not for everyone and is expensive but for the comfort it gives to me it's worth every penny. Best advice is go into store, take your time and try one you might be surprised at how good they are.

Sleeping On A Cloud
We had a Tempur for 15 years and it was great but it was time to replace it and in a effort to save money we brought an Ergoflex instead.Big mistake. After 5 months we had to get rid of it and brought another Tempur which i wish we had done in the first place. We've only had the new Tempur a few days but so far we love it.I will return in the near future after we've had a while and give an update.
Ergloflex pillows are very good in our experience as softer than Temper pillows.
Q&A
Are these mattress suitable for people who have had spinal surgery- discs removed and metal frame inserted to support 2 broken vertebrae?
Just bought a templar double hybrid luxe mattress at over £2200. After 8 days use finding it is giving sore hips and elbows to wife and self. Almost unusable. Advice please? Given retailer will not exchange as has been used!
We have a cloud 21. The problem is with the base that came with it. It squeaks and creaks from about 2 weeks after we go it, any movement sets it off. It is a basic base with 4 drawers, when it arrived the drawers had not been finished off still had material hanging inside and pin nails under top ridge, shop sorted that out. What should I do?
We've just purchased a Temper mattress. We have a 2-3cm foam mattress topper that we used with our previous mattress. Are we okay to still use this on the Tempur mattress? Thanks
