Pagoda, Wakefield

This place used to be so good but over the years standards have slipped and the service is now poor.

The food is average at best!

Such a shame! Was a great Chinese but owners have allowed it to go downhill!

We found dining at The Pagoda Restaurent in Wakefied an absolute delight. The service was exceptional, the smiling staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, hot, well sized portions and very well priced, especially for the quality of the food. We would definitely recommend it and plan to visit again soon, be sure to book though as it was very popular.

I love the Pagoda Restaurant, Wakefield, and have to say it's my favourite restaurant.

I find the staff friendly, the service quick and efficient, and the food absolutely delicious- they have never got an order wrong.

Once, we asked for 2 extra portions of chips and the waiter recommended we order just one- and he was right, saving us money and reducing waste.

The menu is varied and the atmosphere is lovely and authentic.

I recommend the salt and pepper chicken starter- a rarity in chinese restaurants around this area.

It is reasonably priced if not bargainous, as the portions are very adequate. Sometimes my sister and I share all three courses.

The Pagoda Chinese restaurant in Wakefield is fantastic!

Although The Chinese Pagoda in Wakefield is a nice place with good service and the food is beautifully presented it is something of a rip off, as the portions are small and when served to us were not hot as if they had been sitting out waiting to be brought to our table. The prices are unreasonable for what is really just average food. No wonder the place was only a quarter full when we went.
