One word - Perfecto!!!

Service 10/10 - they cant do enough for you. very friendly, well worth the £10 tip

Wine 10/10 - perfect recommendation for our meal & waiter did'nt recommend the most expensive bottle either (been stung elsewhere on that one)

Atmosphere - romantic but inquisitive when everyone's food arrives. The imaginative ways they serve the food is very cool.

Location - perfect just off the M4

In a nutshell - first timer at Gemelli's & boy we weren't dissappointed. I had the Welsh Lamb shank in a divine sauce with veg. Although the roast potatoes need to be roasted in rosemary & garlic. The main meal was exquisite!!! 11/10.

My partner has Spaghetti Gemelli & the portion was huge! But stunning.

Deserts - huge selection to choose from & they certainly know to make stunning deserts 12/10

Amazing foood! lovely staff...

The food is cooked to perfection and brought to you in amazing ways.

The decoration is fantastic in the restaurant.. and the staff will recommend what they think is the best to eat that day/night.

The only tiny let down is the seat covers... althought they look fab, you cant move for feet to freely... which its a massive problem but it did pop into my mind when I was leaning.

I have to be honest this is my fav place to eat in newport by far!

came to the restruant for the first time and really enjoyed the experiance. the whole restraunt is very well decorated and looks very inviting. i was greeted as soon as i walked in the door and seated imediatly. very impressed with the food and the presentation. never seen food displayed this way and it tasts just as good as it looks. the waitress was charming and i will recomended to every one to go to Gemelli for the delightful experiance. thank you very much will deffinatly return with more friends.

I have been to Gemellis a dozen times and have never had a bad meal.

I was extremely impressed with the presentation, as not many restaurants give this much attention to detail. Staff were very friendly, and atmosphere was divine. They had a chalo player which was so amazing. Dfinitely will be returning. Only thing is the tables semmed a little cramped. Loved the decor and desserts!!!

AMAZING FOOD, the waitress is a little cold but the food was to die for. made up for everything. the decor is amazing and well fitted to the theme. i loved the lighting was great for the perfect date. the cakes are amazing and so many to chose from. would recomend to anyone. great night out great management and great food. thank you i will return.

Great decor, polite staff, lovely food, nice wine - all in all an enjoyable meal :) Smoked duck starter was delish and the welsh lamb was nearly enough for two people - just wish i had a bigger stomache and could finish it all! 5 star restaurant without a doubt. Definately worth a pay day treat :)

I am a regular customer at Gemelli's restaurant. Staff are very friendly and when you go there it feels as if you are on holidays abroad.Great food,lovely cakes and unique atmosphere. Best restaurant in Newport!!!

We booked our table for 9pm but were told to pre-order to avoid eating really late. We ordered 2 days before a requested. When we got there, the table was ready but the starters took an hour to come. Then the second we finished our starters the main came. GORGEOUS food and AMAZING presentation and friendly staff. Just disappointed a little with service speed. Would still 100% go again!
