Wouldn't give Calia any stars really, had to give them 1 star to get this review on, £3200 for the worst settees I've ever had, complained and they sent Homecare out to do a report, take pictures of faults, and to open setee from bottom and fill with more stuffing and sponge seats which looked very cheap. Homecare said they were only doing a report, Calia said home care were coming out again to fill seats in 2 weeks time, then changed their mind and cancelled Homecare, then said they were not prepared to do anything more for us. Don't buy from this company, poor quality goods, creased leather, different shades of leather that really stand out, corners of leather that look like they've not had enough stuffing in. I'm left with inferior settees that I don't know what to do with, everyone who has seen these settees in my house cannot believe they cost £3200, they look cheap and nasty.

I paid a lot if money for corner unit and chair arm and set have collapsed after only15 months .i am thinking of selling it or dumping it that is £3500.00 wasted.march

Let me just say up front, I got my couch second hand at a local thrift store, so my review is from it already being second hand and having no idea where it has been and who the previous owner is. Oh yea...I'm from the other side of the pond. Someone must have ordered this and had it shipped over to the U.S.

I got my couch dirt cheap because it had some light cat scratches on it. This is the softest leather I have ever felt in a couch. The frame is extremely solid andthe couch is heavy and buit like a tank. Solid wood legs, nice thickly padded built in seat cushions and back. You literally sink into this thing.

I would never have considered or been able to afford this had I not found it used, so I'm not going to remark on the brand new cost of these, as that doesn't apply to me. All I know is the construction is fantastic in every way. I must have one of the couches that was made before they moved over to china. As mine had animal scratches on it, they ate obviously not totally impervious to that, but what leather couch is.

Bottom line, if you could get your hands on one of theolder couches, I would totally go for it. Seems like the new couches have quality control issues, based on other reviews, and I would probably steer clear of them.

Sorry, but I wasn't able to figure out which model I have. Mine is black brown, three seater, with dark wood stained legs. Kind of a lower profile contemporary look. Definatel over stuffed back.

we purchased our calia suite 12 years ago and I have not seen anything better or more comfy and the leather has improved with age. It just looks as new as the day it was delivered. It is still modern after all this time. I would recommend this, although at the time it seemed a lot of money it has been so worth what we paid.

don't waist your money. the wheels on my sofas has been broken for over an year now. scs, guardsman,caliaitalia stay away. I did not and got bitten. will see what the ombudsman can do.

If you look at most of the reveiws of leathersofaworld you can see that they have written them. I purchased a sofa set from leathersofaworld last year, they make it easy to buy as you can buy on-line and the price is cheap. Unfortunately you get what you pay for, the sofas are very low standard and even though they claim they are "BONDED leather" I could not tell the diferance between BONDED leather and cheap PVC. As it was only for the spare room and they look quite modern I kept it. BIG mistake! after only a few months it started to split and crack, its looks so bad I have to put a blanket over it. I called leathersofaworld who informed me that they would get in touch with their suplier and then get back in touch with me, they didnt. When I called again they said the person handling my complaint had left and then took all the details again. Again nothing, when I called they said we are still waiting to hear from their suplier and will call me as soon as they know more. They never called. If I call they ask who I spoke to before to which I am told he isnt in today call back next week. They just fob you off with one lie after another. Dont make the same mistake I did, dont give them your money.

We bought in 2000 a 2 & 3 seat couch, they have been moved to three different homes and have had two dogs on them the last four years. I love these I was thinking about replacing them but it seems that they might of changed how they make their products as I see lots of bad reviews. I guess you csn say it took me 10 years to write this review but I will say If I can find this brand with the quality I found before I'd buy them right away I think we pais around 3k each.

I bought a 2 seater and 2.5 seater brown leather lounge 4 years aga and am very happy with the quality, comfort and look of them. They have been well used and show no deterioration. I look after them with leather cleaning and conditioning produscts and expect to get more years good use from them. Perhaps, like cars, you can get a 'lemon', but my experience has been very positive.

We purchased a calia leather couch (2 seater and 3 seater) "catherine" style in 2001, and keep thinking when should clean or condition it, but have done nothing to it - apart from cleaning up what the kids have split on it. We still think it looks good and went shopping today for another couch but were disappointed that Nick Scali now import everything from China. Disappointing to hear the other reviews but our experience was very different.

Tip - put your hand down the back of the seat to see if the couch manufacturer cuts costs and uses material where they don't think you'll not the leather.

Purchased calia sofa and loveseat in 2003. The color was beautiful.
