Utter Vermin

Do not use this company. Booked and confirmed my car booking in Montreal only to cancel it when I was waiting to board my flight . Say they can’t send the money back for 5-7 days so I now can’t book another car as I don’t have any more money. Complained only to be told it says so on the website and tough luck. Utter vermin do not book with them as you’ll end up in the same boat with a ruined holiday. Spoiled my partners holiday of a lifetime.

Awful company. Booking confirmed.. later told unavailable and will hold my £1300 for a week so I am unable to book else where following their mistakes.

My flight was cancelled due to this virus, Air Transat and Canadianaffair both refused to give me a full refund, and only due to CAA UK regulations did they then offer me the refund flying out of the UK and not the return flight as it didn't fall under the same regulations, then again only due to laws in the UK did they offer a full refund WHEN THEY GET AROUND TO IT.

No Reimbursment

Well we will not be travelling with CANADIANAFFAIR/AIRTRANSIT again.

We had a eTA problem at Glasgow Airport and could not travel.

They would not reimburse our fare of £1220 or reschedule us on another flight.

2 days later we travelled with UNITED AIRWAYS from Edinburgh via Chicago to Toronto £1330.We used TRAVEL DECORUM TRAVEL AGENTS IN LONDON who were fantastic.We found out that there is many Airlines flying from Scotland and UK to Canada via Chicago or Iceland.Also CANADAAIR.SO BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY if you have any problems.

Unfair If Travelling From Scotland

I feel it is unfair to Scottish customers that there are now NO DIRECT flights to CALGARY. The number of hours. Added on to our flight is not acceptable . I can now be well into double figures. It used to be 8 hours at the most Now it can even be 15 hours or more with not one but two stops. Surly there could be at least SOME direct flights. The older I get the less I can cope with these longer times to reach Calgary. I know I am not alone in this. Flights from down south have to fly up over Scotlnd so we at least are on route. Please somebody give your. Scottish customers a BETTER deal.

Disgusted

Disgusted and appalled by staff who did not allow us to check on as we arrived 5 min before closing time and when we explained this to her she said said that's not her problem & we have missed our flights when clearly departure time was still an hour away but it was our luggage she would not allow through when asked to speak to the manager she said she was the manager and told us to buy new tickets when we got there 5 minutes before but she would not accept & the only reason we were late was because of a accident on the motorway but she was ignorant and didn't allow us through! So spent money on new flights for the next day which was unacceptable! Don't think I will fly with them again

Disappointing!!!

To whom it may concern.... I have a grievance and, utterly disappointed in regards to this Company. (now)

Being that i am a Canadian living abroad, decided to fly back home to visit Family for the first time in eight years. You can say i am a frequent flyer for i have booked with them three times in the past eleven months... to Canada. Due to a health problem (surgery) with a written letter from a specialist or GP, of conformation... were adamant that they would not change dates for this year nor forward scheduled dates to next year. And you can guess, no refund. 4,200.later, feeling like a cash cow!

By the way,they can stop sending brochures.

Never, Ever Again.

We have booked "Club" class flight for the last 5 years and on 3 occasions they have changed our plans. We had an aircraft change resulting in us being downgraded, NO compensation. We have also had an 5 hour flight time change resulting in us missing our flight connections, NO compensation. Then today I have found out my wifes return flight for this Sunday ( 4 days away) she has been downgraded, NO compensation. We will never fly with them again.

Online Booking Check

The charter airline's website states as follows and has done for many weeks now. I write this review on 6th March 2015.

"We are in the process of redeveloping our customer login/account website, so you can’t access your booking online just now, we are sorry for any inconvenience this causes. We expect to have this ready in early February 2015. Please call or email us with any query that you have".

This notice still appears on the website as of today - 6th March 2015. As I have prepaid my booking, I am now nervous that Canadian Affair will not be able to deliver the e-tickets in time for my departure date.
