It's Worth Starting By Saying City Cafe In Cardiff
It's worth starting by saying City Cafe in Cardiff Bay ISN'T A CAFE!!!!! It's a hip and cool bar, popular where the Arty Farties rub shoulders with office workers and more! Great wine selection by the glass, and food made from scratch on the premises. Young friendly staff who take time to actually look you in the eye and talk to you - and homemade soup to die for (I don't bother asking what it is anymore, as it's always good!).
The smaller steel tables and chairs are a bit cold and hard (look for a seat with a cushion!), but the large communal table is fab.
Go try it, but don't tell too many people!
Oh, and they do great coffee too, and free papers for the "cafe-clique".
