Zanussi ZWD1472

The Zanussi ZWD1472 is a great washer for the fact that it has so many functions, timer, stop start button and for convenience it is ace!

I've only had this Zanussi ZWD1472 for a week but so far I'm really pleased with it. (The reason I'm putting this review on so soon is due to the problems I found finding reviews when I was looking to buy - I'll update it when I've had the machine a bit longer!).

Overall the machine looks neat - the control panel isn't too fussy and is very simple to use (even my boyfriend can use it so they've obviously thought about the idiot proof factor!). Simply select the type of material (cotton etc) and everything else comes up as recommended e.g. spin speed. You can of course change it but I don't bother.

Then you either press start or decide, if you want it to wash AND dry, what drying cycle to use. Haven't found too much difference between the different drying cycles e.g. iron dry, store dry - I tend to just use the one in the middle for simplicity.

Off it goes into action - machine is quiet, even when on the spin cycle. You can delay the timing of the start but I'm not sure why you'd want to do this?

I've only scored it a 7 for durability and service as I haven't had enough experience of the machine to comment. Looks a solid enough machine though and my mother has always sworn by Zanussi! The booklet is quite comprehensive and has a fault finding guide and the support number in the back.

Overall, I'm very impressed with the purchase.
