Sony Ericsson W200i

The Sony Ericsson W200i did me ever so well as a mobile phone, I used it for many things like calling friends and family, listening to music with its Walkman feature, also taking pictures and still having a full battery left after using all those features. Sony Ericsson did an amazing job with this phone, it was versatile, hard wearing and tougher than anything! I'm pretty clumsy and i dropped it well over 40 times over the year i had it and it still battled on fighting til the end. I was really pleased with this phone and i recommend it to anyone who asks whether they should buy it! I miss this phone so so much and regret buying my current phone.

Good buy as a first phone and is very good for music lovers....Small, good speakers and headphones, light, easy to use and it has everything you need plus more.....Screen is a TINY bit anoying in bright sunlight and screen is not bad but not great.

The w200i is a nice looking cheap candybar layout phone. I had one of these for about half a year and had downloaded most of my music onto the comptaible m2 memory card when my mum dropped it in a rockpool and it fizzled out within a few minutes, so it isnt waterproof but to be fair not many phones are. Apart from that i really liked the phone .We got it off the internet for £12.99 so we got a brilliant deal for it. On the front the keypad is a bit small for my liking but it makes space to have a larger screen than would have been possible if there was a larger "Text friendly" keypad. When it turns on the screen is nice and bright and doesnt reflect the sun too bad so you can see it easier outside. On one side of the handset is the volume control and on the other is the walkman button which at any time when the phone is on it will take you to the walkman music control screen. Around the back of the phone there is a lovely speaker which curls round the VGA camera. I also really like the walkman logo, which i know is on all walkman phones but it looks just so cool on the w200i. I would definiteley recommend this phone for someone who wants a cheap starter mobile or just as a decent music player. It is great value for money and i am really sad to have broken it.

My need for a mobile phone is pretty basic, and when I came across the Sony Ericson w200i in Argos for £29.99 (Orange payg) I decided to try it. I don't need bluetooth or any of the associated bells and whistles so many people seem to live for - and at that level the phone is unbeatable. Works fine, reception OK, texting OK, and camera not at all bad - as much as I want from a phone. I have to say I don't like the PC software - but then I don't like most software for mobile phones - months after I uninstalled it I'm still finding bits of it all over my PC. Other than that I'm highly satisfied.I notice that Argos have recently increased the price to £39.99, which is too much in my opinion - but the phone is still available at a lower price if you shop around.

I have this Phone in black and i think its brillant! The battery life is Ok and the Handset looks modern and its fairly cheap! Writing text messages is easy and listening to the radio is good too! The phone looks FABULOUS in black! As you know there is no Bluetooth on this phone but that doesnt bother me! connecting the phone with your computer and downloading music from your computer on to your w200 is simply simple!

The Sony Ericsson W200i is good for if you just want a phone for texting but if you want a camera phone then it isn't.

The Sony Ericsson W200i is a good basic phone, if you have windows vista then download from website rather than CD.

Good phone and easy to use. Versatile, also comes in two designs. Currently I have got an orange-white phone. Amazing I am over the moon...

In a nutshell the Sony Ericsson W200i is a budget Walkman phone, offering excellent value for money. For well under £100 you get a smart-looking lightweight phone with a Walkman music player, stereo headset, a memory card big enough to store 30 songs and a slot for a bigger card. You also get an FM radio and a basic camera. The one thing that we don't like is the wobbly joystick.
