As My First Investment In A Cricket Bat I Was Draw
As my first investment in a cricket bat i was drawn in by the stunning cosmetics of the Wand , in accordance with the striking Woodworm range.
However despite much care the bat was easily damages in game play cracks and bits off wood coming off the bat from the edge and toe (after the toe guard fell of prematurely) . i would assume a faulty bat apart from it happened to a team mate who also owned the bat .
I was also disappointed with the lack of power and solidness in the blade while using it, it really didn't enhance my strokes at all, requiring near perfect timing.
The bat did have a very nice pick up and was extremely light so maybe good for a touch player but i could not recommend to a big hitter or generally.
Overall despite nice cosmetics and pick up the general performance of the bat was poor value for money , i payed £69,99 from a local store, this was a junior harrow size and performance quality or lack of performance as the case maybe.
