The Hotpoint Wma52 Looks Good. We Have Only Had O
The Hotpoint WMA52 looks good. We have only had our machine for 1 year and it has caused us no end of problems. We have pulled the machine out and cleaned all the filters etc and it has made no difference. The cost of getting an engineer is so much that it is cheaper to get a new machine. Bad points are it has hard to access filters and stopped working after 1 year. I will be staying away from Hotpoint in the future.

The Hotpoint Wma52 Was Our First Move Into Hotpoin
The Hotpoint WMA52 was our first move into Hotpoint as we has been advised by an independent engineer they were the easiest to obtain parts for and cheapest to maintain. Previously we'd had a Zanussi for about 12 trouble free years and only changed it as we had an opportunity to do so and because of the age of it. Our Hotpoint is just over two years old and is now causing major problems. We cannot empty it and therefore none of the cycles will work as a result. Where on other machines we've had there' been an accessible filter to clean there isn't one on this and if that is the roblem it needs an engineer visit to sort out. Not impressed by this episode but overall it's been an OK machine. I would replace it with a Zanussi though. No doubt.

Had Our Machine For About 2 Years, Its The Day Bef
Had our machine for about 2 years, its the day before Christmas eve and it has stopped spinning and washing properly. Our machine sounds like its about to explode when it was spinning, The drum rattles so much I think it will go through the side of the housing. Had the lid off and the bearings at the back have collapsed, had a look for new ones about £75.00 to buy and then get a local repairer to fit them and then what other damage has been done, who knows. We had our last machine for 13 years, a Phillips whirlpool, think we'll go back to them.

I've Had My 1200 Spin Hotpoint Wma52 For 5 Years
I've had my 1200 spin Hotpoint WMA52 for 5 years and the last few months it has stopped taking the softener in on certain cycles and now the drum sounds like its going to explode on spin cycles. There is screeching and banging and the noise is so loud you can't hear yourself talk. So I'm gonna buy a new machine. Don't think I'll buy another WMA52 though - only due to the choice and prices around now though.
