Stay Away From This Establishment
I don't know how they work with the locals, however, as an international buyer I wish I never came across this establishment.
I bought a flat that was previously managed by this branch, when I moved in I found the following damages despite some of them being reported prior to the purchase:
- Underfloor heating pump broken
- Gas boiler not working
- Shower/bath tap broken
- Kitchen fan extractor broken
- A sliding door from the bedroom wardrobe was missing
- Blinds in the living room were broken
- Toilet flush broken
- Nails and cracks in the walls at the entrance and in the living room
- The property was briefly clean just with a spray and a mop
They were in a management agreement with the previous landlord and yet they totally failed to check that the apartment was returned in the same state it was found by the tenants.
The service was inadequate, unprofessional, careless and full of attitude.
The managers are opinionated, manipulative, arrogant and entitled, rather than resolving the issues (which is what they are paid for) they just play the old blame game.
If you are an International or an EU individual/business, I don't recommend it at all, the standard of service is way below the Continent. For your peace of mind STAY AWAY from this establishment, they are not value for money!

Terrible Property Management Company
I do not recommend Aspire as property managers. They do not adhere to the rental contract clauses. I signed a 2-year contract that clearly states rent adjustments should be based on the RPI at the anniversary in July. However, they sent me an email in May adjusting the rent based on April's RPI. Despite informing them that there is no clause stating adjustments should be based on the notification date's RPI, they ignored this and proceeded with their adjustment.
Moreover, my 2-year contract does not include a clause requiring them to notify me of such changes. Their handling of this situation demonstrates a lack of competence and disregard for the contract terms. Aspire's property management services are subpar, and I would not recommend them to any landlord. They fail to read and follow rental contracts, leading to a below-average management experience.

Rude, Unhelpful And Bitchy
Terrible agency, which are rude patronising and very unhelpful. My estate agent made the proces extremely difficult and was unable to answer any of the questions I asked. She expected me to transfer money with no explanation for what it was for.

I would not recommend anyone to let a property through this agency, me & my partner were looking to rent our first place together we went to view two flats on Barry road we viewed the top floor first wasn't even interested in looking around the flat as nobody had been in the clean the property wasn't appealing at all, the down stairs flat was alittle better, had actually been cleaned!
We went and put the deposit down for the property straight away completed all the application forms to, we were told hopefully will have the keys in the next 4-5 days, 3 days later we had everything ready to move in, & we had a phone call saying the flat down stairs has gone but upstairs is available, me & my partner wasn't very into the idea of the top flat , but we had no choice as everyone was expecting us to be out within the next two days in our own flat, we went to the council and they went and checked the top floor flat it failed the suitability check by a numinous of things, we then decided it wasn't meant to be, so we planned to get th deposit back and start looking again, it wasn't that simple obviously, we rang to come and collect the deposit at 4:30 we were told its close to closing time are we able to collect it the following day or they will transfer it through the bank, nobody made the effort to contact us, after waiting we ended up ringing up and got told it would be in the bank within the next hour, 4 hours later? NO MONEY in the end we drove 30 minutes from Barry to grange town informing them we were coming to collect the deposit as we were sick and tired of waiting, we get there collect the money, about to pull out from the agency and we get a phone call saying to " bring the money back, it's been transferred now"
Absolutely fuming! This is a terrible agency no communication been messed around something stupid!

Estate Agent Did Not Provide Any Advise. Despite T
Estate agent did not provide any advise. Despite the hefty fees aspire clearly did not act on our behalf (the landlords). Do not trust them! Avoid them like the plague! They are only interested in one thing: their commission. They were very unprofessional. They agents themselves do not have any knowledge of the house rental business.

And Once Again....
Last year me and my partner tried to rent a flat with this joke of an estate agent we did everything the way we should just right, holding fees, agency fees (more than id ever paid on previous houses) 2 days before we were meant to pick up our keys and drop off the current ones we were told we could no longer have the flat, due to the current tenant squatting.... our holding fees were retuned but apparently they had done enough hard work to keep our agency fees, this was the only place we viewed with aspire and had minimal contact as we thought everything was running smoothly but apparently not.
Another year comes along and thanks to having 2 days to find somewhere to live I cant wait to get out of my tiny box flat. I found somewhere perfect only problem was it was with the same company that screwed us over last year and guess what happened.....
I would never recommend Aspire Estate agents to anyone and looking at some of the other reviews we are not the only ones.
I was not allowed to pick 0 stars, or use all the words I wanted to describe them.
Hi. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind taking down this review as you've assigned it to the wrong 'Aspire.' My company is a completely different agency operating within South West London - but I know there is another company with the same name in Southampton.
Thank you in advance.

Stole My Holding Deposit
Do not use this agency. I have put in an offer to rent a flat in Clapham. On the same day the agency phoned me saying the landlord accepted the offer.
Paid 400£ as the holding deposit + 150 admin fees to check references. After the references came through the agency kept contacting me to change what had been initially agreed. Fist the landlord said he wasn't going to paint the flat anymore, then the move in date had to be a week earlier, after that the rent had to be paid on a specific date each month ... in the end I have removed my offer and they refused to return the deposit.

Stole Our Holding Deposit - Nothing But Crooks
Arrived in the UK, coming from Australia, where renting is MUCH easier and cheaper.
Arranged a bunch of viewings, then found one we liked. We made sure whenever we saw a property, that our Visa status wouldn't be a problem. Was assured it wouldn't be.
As mentioned, found the property, put an offer in, and they said great, has been accepted by the landlord, and now they'll start the admin side of things.
Passed with flying colors (I'm earning £65K+ and partner has over 3 years rent in savings). We're waiting to get final confirmation, then find out that the landlord has rejected our offer, unless we're willing to pay 12 months rent up front, or find a UK based guarantor!
O.K. so I persevered, and arranged for a company to be my guarantor for £400, and provided Aspire with details, which they promptly rejected, without even speaking to the landlord.
Sent an email asking for any form of compromise, and finally got an email stating we had 40 minutes to accept to the terms, or they'd be putting the property back on the market.
Please, for the love of god, stay away from them.

Terrible Agents
They were so incompetant it was shocking!!!
The letting side and the admin were mismanaged and has cost me thousands in legal fees because they issued my tenants with the wrong contract and therefore caused me a year of legal heartache.
Please I urge you use someone with more experience in this field as they have let me down at every turn and I have lost all my money I had as rental to legal fees. My solicitor couldn't believe how incompetent they had been and it has been such a nightmare for me and all because they got the paperwork was incorrect.
Be warned pay to go with a good agent it will pay you in the long term.
Do not use this company they are not professionals.
