Bmw X5 Se
Just parted with my 2011 X5 SE. It is beyond doubt the best all round car I have owned and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good looking practicle car. It is not a hard core off roader so shouldn't be compared to the Defender or Range Rover. It is however more reliable and can easily cope with occasional trips over muddy fields etc and looks good while doing it.
In town I was getting 26 mpg and on the motor way up to 35 mpg so pretty good for a heavy vehicle. The ride is great and the eight speed auto box works well and is very smooth the sport mode only really being needed if you need to pull out of a junction extra quickly.
There is loads of boot space and as it is fitted with run-flats as standard there is additional storage under the floor of the boot (great for locking things out of sight if you need to leave them in the car.
Overall can't praise it too highly. I have just bought a new one to replace it- the first time I have ever bought two of the same vehicles!

The Bmw X5 3.0d Se Is Certainly The Best Vehicle I
The BMW X5 3.0d SE is certainly the best vehicle I have ever owned and I would not and do not hesitate to recommend them. So far 3 of my friends have bought them and they all love them. If it was stolen or scrapped I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
Q&A
How well would it pull a 1.6 ton caravan?
