The Lg Ri-28cz10rx Is One Of Those Products That Y
The LG RI-28CZ10RX is one of those products that you really like, until things start to go wrong. Having only had a couple of tv's in my life, due to them lasting so well, I hoped to get some value for my money. Unfortunately it failed just a couple of weeks outside the warranty costing me £130 to repair, over half the original cost of the TV. Within 6 months it was having gas problems, causing cloudy effects on the screen. It should also be said that it's noisy in operation, emitting a hissing sound which is rather annoying. I wrote to LG about the poor quality of this product, but they were not interested in repairing or replacing it. I was especially annoyed to find out it was made by Beko but sold as an LG TV. I now have another electrical fault with it which I suspect will need another workshop repair and chip replacement. I will never buy another LG product due to the inferior quality of this TV.

Bought My Lg Tv For £250 (inc. Del.) From 24
Bought my LG TV for £250 (inc. del.) from 24-7 electrical. Good price but within 1 month, set began to develop blue "clouds" in the corners. What's going on? Also set is now discontinued by LG. Interesting.
Maybe discontinued, but its still on offer everywhere.
When running my computer through it, i got the blue clouds because my desktop(or explorer) is so bright. Cranking the contrast down, or turning the tv off for a minute, cured it.
Looks *great* playing games and mpegs through it.

Saw This Lg Ri-28cz10rx Widescreen Television Set
Saw this LG RI-28CZ10RX widescreen television set in Argos (UK store) for a mere £299, with stand, and FREE DVD PLAYER!! A good DVD player too, not your £50 ones. Needless to say, bought it instantly.
Luckily the picture is fine, nothing outstanding with normal TV, but DVD's look ace. But, when in 4:3 or the useful 14:9 mode the sides are squashed a bit. Nothing you can't live with though.
Oh and while scart socket 1 is RGB, Scart 2 is composite, and terrible. S-video is not perfect either. Though this was easily overcome by routing my DVD, Video, and cable scarts into a cheap combiner block so they all go to scart 1.
LG also do a very nice guarantee, £26 for an extra 2 years cover (3 years total), even for accidental damage!
when in 16.9 mode teletext looks like its not centered right anyone else notice this other than that its good for the money i paid £253 from rgb
that included delivery
The previous reviewer was spot on with the squashing-at-the-edges comment. And personally I find it difficult to live with. Useful to know that it is an inherent problem and not just my TV, though.
