Good Little Phone. I Got Mine In 2003 And Still U

Good little phone. I got mine in 2003 and still use it. Works great if a 'phone' is all you need. Has no camera and while it 'can' go online it's not all that good at it. You wouldn't want to check facebook on this thing.

It is super easy to navigate but I suppose that's because there aren't any additional bells and whistles. I paid £70 in 2003 for an unlocked version even then it would have been free with a subscription though.

The default games on it are rubbish too but hey it's a phone

For ease of use if all you need is a phone this one is A # 1

The Website To Find More Info About The Siemens A6

The website to find more info about the Siemens A60 phone is useless. The menu that came with the phone is not helpful, at all. I wasted $176 dollars buying this phone. Because I had to use my regular cell phone most of the time during my trip to Europe. The C60 Siemens just would NOT work .

I would recommend it to someone in the older generation or for a first time mobile for a child because it is easy to use. The features are easy to find and use.

I Love My Siemens A60 Cellphone. With A Sim Card,

I love my Siemens A60 cellphone. With a SIM card, I can use it in the U.S. and also on trips to Europe (by buying another SIM for the country I am visiting). It has frequencies that can be used in the U.S. Europe and Asia. The communication is clear and it has never failed!

I Had This Siemens A60 Phone For Over 3 Years Now

I had this Siemens A60 phone for over 3 years now and it's still working great. That's one of the features of Siemens phones - very resistant! My mother now owns it and she has no difficulties with it. The menu is quite easy to handle and the battery goes a few days just fine. It's a simple color phone.

I Bought The Siemens A60 Mobile Phone For R320 Wit

I bought the Siemens A60 mobile phone for R320 with R25 air time from Cell-C. For the price it's not a bad phone at all. It's good as a first step to owning a proper colour phone.

When I Bought My First Colour Mobile Phone (the Si

When I bought my first colour mobile phone (the Siemens A60) I didn't expect much from it. I mean, it doesn't look any different from any other phone after all. But I was pleasantly surprised (this was 3 years ago) when I turned it on. I don't expect that you will be though, for this phone is very out-dated. But if you're looking for a reasonably simple phone that you just want to use to call people, check the football results or play the odd game now and again, it is perfect. Now you can probably easily get it for around £25, so if you have a small budget it would suit your criteria as well.

The reception quality isn't anything outstanding, and the hands-free speakerphone is only to be used in emergencies! You can still hear people though.

The 3 games are really quite pathetic, but if you're bored in a waiting room somewhere, I suppose you could bring yourself to play with the little 2D men featured in "Stack Attack".

The GPRS capabilities are quite impressive for the little phone's screen. I am on the Orange network, and I think the Orange World connection is a nice escape from the dull menu.

I Bought My Siemens A60 Used On Ebay For £5,

I bought my Siemens A60 used on Ebay for £5, as a spare to keep in the car. When I opened the box on delivery it looked very, very well used, almost as if it had been dropped from a high building! However, this speaks volumes for the robustness of the electronics. A new case and keyboard has restored it to pristine cosmetic condition. The battery, a 3.7v Li-ion, only held its charge for about 8 hours so this had to be replaced. I also note that the charger was not the Siemens original, and although marked as compatible, had an output of 6.7 volts. I think this may be the cause of the short battery life, as I would expect the correct charging voltage to be nearer 4.9 to 5.0 volts! A quick check and comment by other readers would be useful.

What do people use their phone for? To talk and send text messages (95% of the time). In this respect this telephone works admirably. The output is loud and clear, it is tri-band so will work in North America as well as Europe and it has more than enough facilities for even the majority of users. How many people out there have spent hundreds of pounds on a phone with every bell and whistle imaginable and never used them, maybe don't even know how to use them, dare I venture to suggest.

There is no camera but it is stylish, the screen quality is clear, clean and uncluttered and it has a very user-friendly menu system

Overall, this is the perfect phone to knock around in the bottom of one's pocket, a handbag, school satchel or glove compartment and I strongly recommend it.
