Shores Family Restaurant, Brixham

We are staying in Brixham and looking for somewhere nice for lunch. Beamers doesn't open lunchtime. Poopdeck had closed by 1.50 so we went into Shores. It was excellent in all respects. Good food, value for money and superb customer service. I will definitely go back

If you like deep fried fish, then this is the place for you. Personally fresh fish should be pan fried or poached and not swimming in fat with the skin blistered so bad that it pokes you in the eye. Very disappointed as in Brixham you expect better fish.

We found Shores Family Restaurant three years ago the day before we came home, typical, the best place we had eaten all week and the cheapest. We have eaten there since taken other members of the family and have had the same standard of food served by friendly staff. It is the type of eating place you wished you had found the first day of your holiday not the last. keep up the good work.

Shores Family Restaurant - We have had holidays in Torquay over last 5 years (Last visit 22 Nov 08) and have always made the trip to Shores and have never been disappointed with the food service. My daughter is blind and they have been very friendly and helpful

Good value restaurant, family friendly, not posh or pretentious, but not tacky either - just right. Big portions or wholesome food, served quickly and efficiently by friendly staff.

This is a great restaurant. We had steak, chips and fresh vegetables, the children had a nice menu to choose from and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Choices of wine were good too! We had the house red which went beautifully with the steak. Staff were attentive throughout, the views of the harbour were great too, it kept the children entertained watching the boats while we enjoyed the meal. Great!
