I would like to share my recent experience!
I m leaving in Tunbridge wells and This is the second time I m moving with Ashton Burkinshow
Moving in another property took less than 3 weeks because I was late with the documents otherwise the agents called me almost every day to remind me and to guide me if I have any difficulties with documents
The staff were so patient and helpful all the time! I really appreciate that!!!
After I mooved I found some small details which need to be rearrange and repair
I did request assistants in the online site "Flixflo "
I had all sorted out whitin 24 hours!!!
I will definitely recommend Ashton Burkinshow Tunbridge wells to my friends and colleagues!

You Are Contractually Bound, They Are Not - Just Awful
dont expect anything to be fixed within a reasonable time period without having to chase them and being spoken to by an indifferent call centre handler.
Take your money and do nothing for it and always use excuse that they cant get hold of landlords.
they will leave you with toiltes flooding, cesspits overflowing and tell you that it is your responsibility.
THE worst rental company I have ever had to deal with. Had to get a lawyer onto them before they got anything done.
They totally took the pleasure out of living in a reasonably nice house in a rural area and made it the most unhappy and stressful time in my life.

2 Month Break Clause - Don't Sign
Please don't get caught the way we did with their 2 MONTH BREAK CLAUSE. Basically they will try and get you to agree to this and effectively this means that you could end up paying for two rents as most landlords are not prepared to wait 2 months for you to move in to your new rented property. If you sign this you have to pay it.
My advice, read and read again and if you find this 2 MONTH BREAK CLAUSE refuse to sign it. They basically WANT YOU TO PAY FOR 2 MONTHS AND PAY.
I am disgusted with their underhand methods of extracting money and will never use or recommend them to anyone. Speaking to many people they all say the same. AVOID THEM.

Outrageously Unprofessional!
We have been renting with this company for 18 months. After clearing the property, the clearing report was done the same day and we've been told it will take around 5 working days to receive the deposit back. Next morning we moved out from the property we were charged an extra month of rent as our DD hasn't been cancelled and the money paid to the landlord. 2 weeks later no trace of our deposit or money back. After numerous calls and visits back to the branch, speaking with 5 different staff members we were told our landlord is out of the country and they cannot contact him. Another week later still no deposit and the branch were only making excuses and raising their shoulders in incompetence. Almost a month later finally we received our deposit back but still the extra month amount hasn't been paid back. After threatening the branch with a formal complaint, magically the landlord was available. We have been told that he will bring a check the same day with the amount due. After more calls and already a month later still no check, though we have been reassured the company has paid in the check a week ago but for some reason it hasn't come through in our bank. To this day we're still waiting for the money back. We never dealt with such an unprofessional company.

These people are liars. They tried to take our security check money and not give us our property and lied in process. We dealt with 3 different members of staff there and a separate branch and they were are rude.
Eventually we had to threaten legal action against them, i've never dealt with such a corrupt company.

Obnoxious, no customer service skills, rude, un-professional are just four of the many words that sum up the so called manager at Tonbridge. Will never use them again EVER!!

I rented a property through them. They charged me £75 pet fee even though they are not managing the property, just paid by the landlord to find a tenant. They charged £150 background search for another occupier but did no background checking at all, no credit check - nothing. The staff quote the rules and regulations at you at will but constantly contradict each other. Found them to bu rude and unhelpful. Shame, because my landlords are lovely people and couldn't be more helpful. they don't think much of Ashton Burkinshaw either and said they probably wouldn't use them again.

I have had dealings with the Wadhurst office and I have never been so insulted in my life, Trish is so rude and unprofessional their charges are 30x the monthley rent

1st month up front
If you need a garantee they have to own their own house and earn 40x the monthley rent.
There fees are £75.00 for references
£50.00 for admin
£150.00 for the contract.
I would never recomend these people to anyone, I think they got there manners free from a corn flake packet.

Just Avoid Them!
Rubbish, feel like I have been mugged. You pay horrendous fees, forever chasing them to get progress, rude on phone and speak like they don’t even know what you’re on about. There is no search on my credit report either to say they even searched it! Sales orientated, and do give a hoot about the person they are dealing with as long as they hit their targets. Have dealt with other letting agents in the past, this one, will never be recommended to anyone.

Avoid this estate agent like the plague, unless you are a landlord. I have rented a property for three years now and now I am not re-newing my contract.
I have waited patiently (3 years) for maintenance and repairs that have been repeatedly requested for, such as damp and black mould in two of the bedrooms, toilet and hallway, electric wall socket (unserviceable), garden fencing and gate - I could go on.
Local council inspected the house on my request and found that there was insufficient insulation in the loft, central heating outdated and inadequate and many other health hazards. But still no action from them and they still take my money each month.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
