Avoid This Dealer!!!!

AVOID THIS DEALER!!! HIGH MILEAGE, OVERPRICED RUBBISH!!!

Our experience started a fortnight ago when we decided to check out a mini clubman that Hensons had advertised on Autotrader.

When we arrived the car wasn’t their, but we decided to get a feel for other makes and models as we didn’t really know what we wanted.

We soon fell in love with a 2018 Fabia Monte Carlo SG18*** we had a good look over the car and played around with the various toys and despite the higher than normal mileage we still felt it was a good car, we asked for a test drive which Ramiz the salesmen agreed to, upon leaving the dealership I noticed a light on the dash (EPC) which relates to the Engine Power Control, Ramiz tried to pass this off as the car being in ECO mode which me being a mechanic I told him this was not the case and it indicated a fault which would need to be addressed.

We liked the car and a couple of days later we left a deposit whilst we sold our car and arranged to collect it the following Monday, due to the DVLA licencing issues I was still waiting for my driving licence to come back so this posed an issue for the finance, Ramiz assured me he could sort this as a friend of his owed him a favour… ( I actually recorded this conversation as I felt it was very dodgy and didn’t want to get into trouble) to keep things legal I made an express passport application and sorted the ID issue myself, I believed during all of this the car was being looked at and sorted, delivery day came and finance company text to say they had paid out, so I called Ramiz he claimed they had not, 4 hours later he called to say good news… the finance had paid out, but bad news is the turbo has failed on the car so you will have to wait at least 3 weeks to take delivery.

Although they did offer a courtesy vehicle, immediately my wife had lost confidence in both Hensons and the car, and this is where the fun starts…..

Ramiz made it extremely difficult to cancel the deal, he didn’t notify the finance company, I had to do this and when I did he wouldn’t return the money to them which meant we were without a car for 6 days, he knew how we needed a car to get our disabled daughter to school but ignored my calls and emails once the deal fell through!!

We have been left £1500 out of pocket due to Hensons which I am currently seeking legal advice to recover this money!!

The finance company who I sourced myself were amazing, they have advised me to make a formal complaint to the financial conduct Authority about Hensons and their conduct throughout.

You might also be interested to know Ramiz is the manager at Hensons, so…. if the leadership is corrupt you have absolutely no chance!!!!

Fantastic - Efficient - Great Rates

Excellent company and a great finance price and effortless exchange of my golf to a stunning Jag XF premium. Paperwork and support was superb and I would not use anyone for a car purchase again other than Henson. Superb choice of cars and all superbly looked after.

I liked the people, the choice, the process and the communication on email and phone. 5/5

Things That Were Supposed To Be Fixed Before Colle

Things that were supposed to be fixed before collection were not repaired. In fact, they hadn't passed on the details to their maintenance department. Yet they had delayed the collection and they knew I lived over 50 miles away. I reported that tyres were running flat very quickly, they just pumped them up and told me they had fixed them - twice.

They eventually replaced the main mirror but they broke the windscreen doing it, then the interior door trim was slit whilst replacing it and they mentioned nothing when dropping the car off. Replacing the screen requires the wipers to be replaced. A week later in a downpour a wiper came loose, forcing me to abandon my journey and get the RAC out. Kept telling me they were making no money on the car and trying to manipulate me into not complaining.

Don't bother with the warranty, they use sneaky sales techniques to write in an excess at the moment you sign.

Hi thanks for pointing me to the warranty ! I travelled from Scotland to pick up our car and 2 weeks after we picked it up , i had to take to the garage for a check up ! ! only to find out it's needing just short of a £1000 of repairs , I looked at my partner and told her about it, so the car has been in a week in a reputable garage! & can't get a hired car as we were from Scotland ? It's not right what goes down on paper one on one warranty and one on another or that's how they make out on a phone !

Great Car Great Value Excelent !!

The car I purchased from Henson Motor Group is perfect. Compared to other companies, Henson Motor Group is better in terms of selection and prices. They also have a personal approach. In and out, they were quick and friendly. I also like their records.the staff have been very helpful and there's no pressure. My record is not perfect but the people from the finance department arranged a perfect deal for me.

Bought my corse here after searching for the right car at right price, has been best car I have had and the salesman was very very helpful - gave me all the facts for finance but wss lucky enough to have cash to but with. Have recommended friends to Hensons and had £50 each time, result there too. Check their website for great cars and great prices

Bought A New Car

Bought a Vauxhall corsa. Great finance deal. Very professional team happy to help and answer questions.

I was worried about my credit rating but they explained everything to me so I knew exactly what my payments were.

Recommend to any one, first class service.

Wheel baring went on car and within 24 hours they booked me in fixed problem and gave me courtesy car.
