La Cafetiere looks great but beans do not continually feed through hopper so you must shake or tap the unit while grinding. Takes several minutes to produce enough for a half pot (I don't brew more than I'll drink immediately). I'd look for another with a better review unless you don't mind spending a bit of time as well as making noise first thing in the morning!
