I Have Nearly 50,000 Miles On My Honda Vt750dc Sha

I have nearly 50,000 miles on my Honda VT750DC Shadow Spirit and have only did normal maintenance. I have added fog lights, alarm system, air horn, and wiring for some additional items, like outside temp guage and VM, LED Brake lights, and for my heated gloves.

It is a fun bike to ride in the country.

I've Had This Bike Since I Bought It New Off The S

I've had this bike since I bought it new off the showroom floor in 2003. It's been a great bike. The only problem I've had with it was the speedo cable came off while riding, but that was an easy side of the road fix. The stock intake and exhaust really hold back the motor. Put a new exhaust and intake on, rejet your carb and notice a world of difference.

The Honda Shadow Spirit Is A Good Riding, Handling

The Honda Shadow Spirit is a good riding, handling, and performance bike if you make changes & improvements to it I have spent a lot of money on it and I like it better ever time I ride it. I lowered the rear 1.5in raised

The front 1.5/2.0in added cobra street rod pipes wider rear tire &

Changed handle bars to 6in with a pull back & mustang seat and back rest with bag and tourmaster saddlebags & fork bag &

Tank bib Memphis shades windshield, driving lights, clock and

Tachometer and several other things here & there I really enjoy riding it now (it rides & handles so much better & looks nicer)

It's a real big surprise the changing & adding things to it made in the riding and handling & looks of the motorcycle especially the seat & handle bars and the lowering of the rear I am short legged and the lowering helped a lot in the handling & riding of the bike.

For a daily/regular rider the shadow spirit 750dc if you want a v-twin cruiser can not be beat has real good power and speed but

Depending on what you want if you want comfort or if you want comfort and looks and the better handling and riding.

You will have to spend some money to get it. It ' s worth it I know.

This Pretty And Well-built Road Machine Is Filling

This pretty and well-built road machine is filling my autumn with sweet freedom. I've put 700 miles on her in five weeks; that's how fun this motorcycle is. If I take care of it, it will last 100K miles. 55-70 mpg, all the power I need (5'9", 150 lbs), including with passenger.

Bought it with the following changes made to bike: Swept back handlebars, which I like better ergonomically. Mustang seat, comfortable all day long for me and passenger. Windscreen, which I don't even notice 'cause it's below my line of sight, but minimizes wind fatigue to torso. Honda leather saddlebags, which are way cool because it's not often I need to use the cargo bungee. I made a great choice. Originally I thought I might have paid on the high side ($4700), but now appreciating the $2,000 worth of accessories, how it was climate-controlled garage kept, how it only had 680 miles on it, and how knowledgeable/helpful the seller was (we still talk on the phone; he's a veteran cyclist who knows mechanics and safety), I think it's worth every penny.

*I'm only saying this because this morning it's time to spray lube the chain before a 110 mile round trip joyride, and I have to go buy the lube first. After that, it won't be a bad point. In fact in the bigger picture, I think I like the feel of chain better than shaft anyway.

I Found A Pearl Purple Flame With Wind Screen, Mus

I found a pearl purple flame with wind screen, mustang seat, swept back handlebars, and Honda leather saddlebags on a bike with 680 miles on it. Median price, but not average. Above average price, but right at the median level. Good move. Been happy ever since.
