The Cottage As Another Contributor Has Said Is An
The Cottage as another contributor has said is an institution in the Swansea Valley. During the snow between Christmas and New Year 2010 I visited to find the usual warm welcome at around 6pm. By 7pm it was full with a substantial list of people waiting in the shivering cold for a table.
We ate a variety of starters - 3 I think in total and shared a main course with rice, naan and a couple of side dishes. All told, with full bellies, we wondered back into the cold dark night some £40 lighter but having enjoyed some fantastic and contrasting food of the highest standards. Just don't tell anyone... otherwise I'll never get a table again!

Indian Cottage In Pontardawe Is An Institution Rat
Indian Cottage in Pontardawe is an institution rather than a restaurant! It has been going for more than 30 years, and has always been a sound, good quality and friendly restaurant for more than two generations of diners. The service is fab, and they remember their customers - by name! They are very child friendly, but equally at home with a girls or boys night out, and with teenagers too (it's a popular birthday bash with the 13 - 16 age group). Not big on space, but massive on welcome and quality. I'd seriously recommend it. I've never yet had a poor meal.
