Berketex Bride, Leeds

Worse customer service. I notice that they have turned off reviews on Facebook, so am trying to find ways to help other brides not have the same experience as me. I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from here in May, to arrive late August/early September. After chasing it up on numerous occasions, I have now been informed 2 of the dresses will not arrive till 10 days before my wedding. Considering they said 2 appointments for alterations are needed, not sure how they expect that to work. It is made worse by the lack of apology. I had to suggest that we make a plan, also when I asked for their complaints policy I was told I could have a compliments slip. It has proved impossible to talk to anyone in head office. A quick search online & I now realise I am not alone in my experience of this company. Please avoid.

I can't thank you and your staff (seamstress) enough, nothing was too much trouble and most importantly you made me at ease and spent time discussing what IWOULD LIKE also within my budget,...suggestions and designs were amazing,..you have made me feel special and very valued, In fact I would like to return to your shop with a very proud photograph for you to display my happy day if that's ok with you? Thankyou so much for all your advice , help, friendly attitude, it meant a lot....Thankyou again

The experience was fantastic the staff were lovely really put me at ease wish I could put the lady that helped me but can't will take a card in and give it directly to her this was at the Leeds branch fantastic service x

Walked in went up the stairs no staff greeted us so tried to look around... Got asked to leave by a very rude lady saying they were busy ... Another lady also came in just after and also got told to leave. Bad bad customer service.

A few days before my wedding I was forced to pay over £200 that I was not only not expecting to pay but was assured I wouldn't have to. The store, apparently, made a mistake. At my expense. Then just to make sure I definitely regretted my decision to use Berketex Brides- the head office were rude and threatening. They were utterly unprofessional and I was held to ransom in that I either paid (the ever increasing) amount or they would not let me have my dress, literally 3 days before my wedding. I have no idea how they get away with it when they are such a big company and feel this is my only form of retaliation. They act like a seriously budget retailer but they charge no less than the hundreds of other bridal shops. I wish I had chosen one of the many others :(

Would just like to say a big thank you to leeds store x my daughter and I visited. Last week and tried on numerous dresses. Its true that when you find the one you wil know !!! Both my daughter and I had tears in our eyes when she tried on the dress the shop assistant was so lovely it was a perfect moment xwe ordered the dress which will be ready after christmas.we are so looking forward to re visiting in january along with bridesmaids. Thank you once again Berketex leeds looking forward to the fittings !!!

I bought my dress earlier this year and have to say my experience from walking into the shop 10 months ago to leaving the shop with my gorgeous dress was superb. The staff we all so friendly and even when I was getting stresses about other aspects of my wedding they were calm and reassuring.

There was a huge choice of dresses and the shop is large enough for me and my bridesmaids to sit comfortably while we had our fittings.

A great experience - just wish I could afford to do it every year!! (with the same groom of course)

It was my first experience of trying on wedding dresses and my mum and sister came with me, I was nervous but excited. The staff were so welcoming as soon as we walked in even though we hasn't booked an appointment they let us walk round and look at the gorgeous dresses, they said they had an appointment free later that day so we went for lunch and came back. I'm so glad we did. The sales lady listened to my ideas and made a few suggestions then let the 3 of us choose about 6 dresses ourselves. As I was trying on different styles she made other suggestions and it was a dress I would have never even thought of trying on that I bought. I am so excited, I was told I can come back and try on veils and tiaras anytime as I was so overwhelmed at finding my dress I couldn't think of accessories at the time. It will give me another chance to try on the sample too!!

Thank you to the wonderful girls at Berketex bride I had the most lovely time and my mum will never forget our day out - it was fabulous!

awful service THROUGHOUT, take your money elsewhere as these people will take it off you then dont want to know YOU. they arent interested in weddings ,ONLY interested in ripping people OFF. do more research online.

Just had to leave a review about my recent visit to the Bertex Bride shop in Norwich. The lady that was helping me out was named Stephanie and OMG she was amazing!! she was such a lovely lady that truely helped, not in an over bearing nor pushy way but perfect!! I had previously gone to the oxford street store and was HUGELY disappointed at their lack of personal skills and helpfulness! But Steph and her colleague that day were so lvoely and welcoming I had such a good time trying on the dresses and she really listened to what I wanted rather than selling me a dress! would def reccomened this store and her for any brides to be!!
