Pontardawe, Cardamom

Picked up a chicken biryani on 21st December 2022 and when I opened it the food was totally burnt and tasted horrible so much so that I had to throw it away.

I normally eat in the Cardamom with my nephew once a month but to be honest will not be going back there for a long time .

Really disappointed with the state of the food no care taken just got rid of burnt food.

After ordering food and being told that it would be with me within 1 hour, only to have to phone up after an hour and a half to find out that they have not even started the food and being given attitude from the staff on the phone who couldn't have cared less, cancelled my order and would not recommend to anyone

Went to the Cardamom for my friends birthday, really enjoyed.

Friendly service, lovley food, nice atmosphere, very clean and cosy.

Cardamom in Pontardawe is a new competitor to existing businesses in the village and the third Indian Restaurant. It's slightly different to the other two with a heavier emphasis on quality however it's quite small and therefore a bit more limited for larger groups. The staff are excellent and it's busy on weekends for all the right reasons - so book!
