Great All Around Truck
Had my truck last 6000 miles it's the 3.0td with power up grade from Isuzu on a 2005.And I must say I love it,I do 1000 miles a month and cost me £200 a month with a steady right foot lol but mines manual and in 5 gear at 30 and still pulls well no problems.I have spent money on her with likes of service, tyres exhaust, brake pads and discs and now is due a clutch, but hey thats what u expect when you buy a second hand truck with 130k on it.
Has many extra on it such as chrome pack, lockable sliding back,a/t tyres wind deflectors, tinted Windows and full respray just before I got it.
What I will say is inside is a bit basic but hey it a 2005 truck, but if you want a truck with great looks and great reliability then I recommend to anyone as I would get up and get in it and go any where.

The Isuzu Rodeo Is A Great Work Horse.
The Isuzu Rodeo is a great work horse.
Out of all the pickups it drives teh most like a car and is perfect for long journeys,
The Rodeo Is greta for towing and good on fuel personally i really like the isuzu compared to other trucks, its a little out dated know compared to other trucks on the market and could deffently do with updating.

For An Allround Working/towing/day To Day Runabout
For an allround working/towing/day to day runabout I think these are hard to beat, I have an Aerotop fitted with a locking box inside & the mix is ideal I am a photographer & visit some out of the way places in the North of Scotland & find this mode of transport ideal. The consumption is working out at 35mpg around town & 40mpg on a solo run which is brilliant in my book (I had a Mitsubishi L200 also from new & 25mpg was the norm ditto for my son in laws Navara)The finish is great for a truck & not bad against some cars either, noise levels are pretty subdued & it was great in the recent snows....all in all I love it!

Alright, So I Did Buy This Vehicle Used. But Short
Alright, so I DID buy this vehicle used. But shortly after, the transmission needed replacing(two days after purchase from dealer)
The dealership paid for this replacement.
6 months later, the motor needed replacing. The extended warranty company paid for this (most of it anyhow).
I still need to replace the flex pipe (exhaust). this is a dealer only part and will cost me $360.00!
Fuel economy is approx 15-17 mpg on the highway...no kidding. even with the new 6cyl factory motor.
These vehicles are still barely being sold in the US and DO NOT have a great reputation.
AVOID this vehicle and any other Isuzu motor vehicles if possible, they will only let you down and then empty your wallet.

I Bought The Isuzu Rodeo Because At The Time It Wa
I bought the Isuzu Rodeo because at the time it was the only pick up with an auto box. I seem to spend a lot of time hauling stuff and I've found that the vehicle just doesn't deliver. It seems to struggle with a loaded trailer and the back is too short to carry stuff compared with the Ford Ranger.
It's not great off road either. Mechanically in three years since new it's needed new discs on the front (apparently because the vehicle has been taken off road, I live on a farm), I've had problems with the brake lights and the trailer lights and the ABS indicator frequently stays on.
Q&A
Can anyone tell me how to reprogramme the ecu on my Rodeo Denver 3.0 2006 reg please?
Thanks
Has anyone had any problem with wheel studs/nuts breaking or coming loose?
