Worst Experience Ever

Instructed Dixons last year to sell my dad's house. Really hard to get hold of anyone, continually had to chase for updates, felt completely let down by them and their lack of customer service. Avoid!

Stay Away

My experience with this company has been awful, I gave them my property to rent and it was the worst experience of my life.

If you want your home intact and investment to be looked after go elsewhere they do not care only interested in their fees every month, I moved elsewhere best thing ever.

Chased For Money 14 Months After Vacating

I was renting a property managed by Dixon's with my house mate. I vacated the property after our contract had ended due to shockingly poor service. I informed the person I dealt with from Dixons Selly Oak via e-mail that I had vacated the property and paid all the leavers fee's. I called to confirm with Country wide terminations that this was correct and received verbal confirmation that I had. My house mate then signed a new tenancy agreement on his own.

I have not had any contact from her since leaving. 14 months later on, I received a call from her stating that I owed money that my ex-housemate had not paid because she had not bothered to fill in the forms to remove my name from the tenancy. She threatened me with court proceedings in her first call to me in 14 months. My housemate has stopped communicating with Dixon's so they found me an easy target to bump up their profits.

I have been forced to take this up with the property ombudsman because Dixon's continue to harass and threaten me with court unless I pay for a charge 14 months after I had left the property.

During my time in the property, I could not get hold of Dixon's when we had issues with the house. Precisely zero issues were rectified. If Dixon's spent half the time they do unscrupulously chasing for money and put that into customer service, they might stand a chance.

Please avoid using Dixon's at all cost. Shockingly poor service during and after the tenancy.

Dixon's Harbourne Knowingly Rented Mouse Infested Property

Having lived in the property since March. Five days before Christmas we

are left with damp and mould in the master bedroom and the kitchen.

Discussion with the previous tenant made us aware that Dixons had rented

the property previously and were aware of the issues. It even took

about 4 months to get the front door replaced, despite the fact the

issues with the door effectively placed one of us under house arrest.

We still have issues with mice.

Redditch Dixons - Brilliant People & Service = Use Them!

I have just received outstanding service by a brilliant team at Dixons Redditch. The two people I dealt with couldn't have done any more to find a suitable tenant for my property. Literally within 2 weeks they had conducted the viewings seamlessly and my new tenant was in situ. Superb levels of communication along the journey and nothing was too much trouble when I had a few questions. A very knowledgeable, helpful & supportive duo. If you are looking for any property advice whether you are a Landlord or tenant, then you must speak to these ladies at Dixons Redditch! The very best in Redditch! Thank you to them!

Buying A House Through Dixon’s ? Think Again

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY ! Without a shadow of a doubt the very worst company claiming to call yemsrkves estate agent I have ever had the misfortune to contact.

My story I call to arrange a viewing a fairly ordinary commonplace action . On two separate occasions I have been put off from viewing due to .

A block viewings being full

B a significantly higher offer being received

I who am in an a good position as sold already have my finances and mortgage in place totally fobbed off . This agent they hold onto properties for p pole wiling to bribe them and will operate unethically and immorally to achieve their aims.

This applies to all Dixon’s branches as I’ve had dealings with

KINGS HEATH DIXONS awful. Tried to hard sell me . I chose to sell my house elsewhere

KINGS NORTON rude, unapproachable, prejudiced no customer service skills at all unfriendly atmosphere

NORTHFIELD liars unethical immoral rude and told me I cannot out an offer on a house I haven’t seen .

Conclusion STAY AWAY from money grabbing unprincipled organisations and the people that work for them.

Dixons Erdington High Street

Incredible bad level of service and attention to detail. The sale was handled by least 3 to 4 different people and they never knew at which point each other were at. So me and the family were kept asked the same questions over and over because their staff wouldn't leave updated details of offers, listing, customer interests and pricing. There is a common belief that Dixons staff actually fleece you out of your finances pretending to receive a better offer from someone so you have to up your offer higher or tell you your property is not worth the asking price and force you to drop the value otherwise they control who they claim is interested in viewing your house. If you don't do either, then you can forget about any forthcoming service from them.

I truly believe they can rig your property of offers and make your listing appear desperate for sale or edge you out for buying, and for their friends, family and fellow colleagues no doubt.

It's a shallow system they operate in, and along with solicitors playing their tune, you don't stand a chance. Avoid this particular branch if you can, full of creeps.

Avoid At All Costs

Used Dixons that was formerly at The Scott Arms Great Barr but transferred business to Kingstanding. Right from the start they used a lot of spin and gimmick to hook you in quoting unrealistic valuations and charging over the top to handle your sale.

They want you to accept first offers for a quick sale and basically I never felt they were seeking my best interest as we had to take over some of the negotiations.

When the Office moved to Kingstanding matters got worse and became less personal as I felt hurried into accepting a quick sale. Matters dragged as the Council became involved and there was a dispute with the amount of money owing to the council with my mother being in care. The House was partly owned by myself and my mother.

When completion day arrived I was not told money had been paid into my account and waited before removing goods from the property. This lady acting for Dixons failed to inform me that the buyer was not happy with the extension of time requested for the collection of my mother's belongings and I could not get into the property to remove goods. On contacting the the lady she became rather rude and defensive referring back to their in house solicitors. Dixons are quick to take your money but quick in becoming hostile when things go wrong. I would never recommend or use them ever again.
