Good Location
The Roulla studios in Aghia Paraskevi are in a good location. They are small and have a problem with ants. The bathroom is small & the shower area looks extremely small and the shower curtain goes across the room including the toilet which gets wet each time you use the shower. It did have a nice useful bathroom cabinet. The kitchen area is small and there was no draining board. There was a kettle, toaster & 2 cooking rings. Our fridge tipped at an abgle each time we opened the door but it did stay within it's housing. The air conditioning was 70 euro for 2 week & safe was 30 euro but only 80 if you had both which seemed like good value.
The pool looked clean and the sun beds were in good condition and bar staff were friendly. The supermarket was more expensive than one 100 yeards away. There is a restaurant/pizzeria on site which seemed popular with people who weren't staing there too.
It is very close to bus stop 16 and the fare was 1.60 euro to each end of the island even if only going a few stops. It is a good service with 3 buses an hour in each direction until 3 in the morning. It stopped close to lots of beaches which was very handy. The beach of Aghia Paraskevi was very nice & sunbeds were wooden with pads on & cost 8 euro for 2 beds & an unbrella & included a drink each - either tea or coffee or cold drinks such as coke, fanta or sprite.
There is a good choice of tavernas within a short walk and we found them to be very good value for money with good choice of food and friendly staff.
This is a really good area to stay on the island but maybe some of the other sudios might be better but it is difficult to get accommodation on a low level near the main road like this one.
