Can’t See

They are comfortable to wear however they blur and a fog appears on the lense making it harder too see than when not wearing them. Even after using solution to cleanse they fog up after a short time of wearing them. Had to throw my lenses out after only 1 week. Horrible lenses I would not recommend to anyone.

Wouldn't Recommend If You Live In A Dry State

I live in Utah, which is mostly desert and has very dry air quality. I'm not even sure why opticians would recommend the oasys contact lenses here. They are dry and itchy as soon as I put them in. I've been waiting for different lenses to be delivered so, to keep these things in my eyes I have to keep rewetting them with eye drops which doesn't really help me either. I wouldn't give any stars if I could.

Bring Back Acuvue Advance

I have had nothing but problems since I have worn Oasys. I don't understand why Acuvue Advance were discontinued as I never had any problems and they were always so comfortable. Oasys have caused many issues in my left eye, and it is always going red. I am going to have to give them up.

Higher Cost : Lower Quality

I was forced to upgrade to these after my Acuvue advance lenses were discontinued.

For many years the advance were brilliant, and performed well during long periods of use.

The new Oasys though, are terrible. They are thinner and lighter, which would seem like a good thing, however it's not.

They frequently become itchy and dry, and they are harder to clean at they stick to your fingers.

My wear time has been significantly reduced, and i'm lucky to make it through an 8-5pm day without some period of discomfort.

The final nail in the coffin is that they are significantly more expensive, my monthly payments rose by nearly 15%.

Never Again.

I'm afraid, a few optician were recommending me these Oasys contacts for a couple of years. A few years ago, I tried a box before, but I didn't like the thickness. After wearing the Acuvue, I switched to Oasys again for a couple of months. These were the worst contacts I've ever had. Constant dryness, even though they're supposed to be the newest technology and breathability. And a typical lens would last around 3-6 days. Maybe a week at most, when they were supposed to last a month or at least two weeks. I had many pairs that literally just had cut themselves out of nowhere, either the middle or edges and had to be thrown out. Never buy this and waste your money. I'm sorry. Sending a box back now for a refund.

Brilliant Lenses

I have only just started wearing these contacts and I can't fault them I was previously wearing dailys which dried my eyes out so much I could only wear them for about 4 hours and I could always feel them in my eye. With these ones I have no more dry or irritated eyes and I can wear these for up to 16 hours per day with no issues and I even forget I'm wearing them. You can not feel them at all. I am really happy as I never thought I would find lenses so comfortable

Poor Quality Product, Even Worse Service Department

I have used Acuvue Dailies Moist for years now, without a single problem.

My eye doctor advised to use the Acuvue Oasys lenses, so I ordered a year supply.

Of the first 14 lenses I used, 5 were faulty out of the package. They were not round, but oddly shaped. It looked like a poor quality control issue.

I emailed the support department and after 3 emails I got a reply 1-1.5 months later. I could send them back and get my money back. Or could replace them with another set.

The issue is that with -9.50 / -11.00 Acuvue is the only brand I can use. So sending them back and get money or replace them with another set that is not guaranteed better is not really an option.

I asked questions about the quality control, which were never answered.

I asked if I could use the lenses, but collect the defective ones and send those back. Never a reaction. That all took about 4 months.

Really poor quality control on these lenses and very disappointing service department. Maybe I was unlucky, but then I was unlucky with both the quality of the lenses and the quality of Acuvue's service department. Hope you're lucky if you buy these!

A Fog Or Film Developes 30 Minutes After Putting Them In!!!

Me and a co-worker have had the worst luck with these damn contacts. The majority of my last order (enough for an entire year) would get a fog or film after about 30 minutes of putting a brand new pair in. I will NEVER get these again!!!!! I have tried new solution, cleaning them 15 times in one freakinh morning, only to be left with red, burning eyes and throwing out yet another brand new pair.

Contacts Always Blurry, Developing Film On Them. Horrible!!

I have went through 2 boxes of these contacts in not even 2 months. About 5 minutes after I put them in they seem to develope a film on them. I have tried everything and it seems like it's a defect that isn't correctable. Only a couple pairs of lenses from these 2 boxes did not do this. I even thought my eye doctor made a mistake with my prescription, or contact size and I went back in. He suggested I change cleaning solution because these are the same brand I have been wearing for years without problem. I changed solution and that didn't help. It's has been very frustrating and dangerous wearing these. When I'm driving if they "cloud" up I cannot see. These should be recalled!!

I have been having the same problem, the company claims its from my makeup. But I've been wearing them for years and never had an issue. It's random lenses within the box. Some are fine, some are not. I had them send me a free box because of this. It's really really annoying because it's so bad I absolutely cannot see. I was at work one day and my eyes were raw from cleaning them and putting them back in so I just dealt with it until my shift was over. When I took them out the entire lense was completely white with film. I could see better without my contacts (my vision is awful, I wear -6.50) so that's saying something. I will be calling and asking for a refund and calling my doctor to switch lenses.

Q&A

LauraMazza

I recently had to change to the acuvue oasys lenses from the acuvue moist. within hours of wearing them they cloud over and get a haze on them. Both lenses do this but it is mostly on the left lens. They are comfortable when I first put them in but I would say within an hour the film appears. It is getting annoying to have to take them out and clean them 2-3 times a day. Any suggestions?
