Trainers Falling Apart

Bought trainers from local jjb sports, after a week the insole came apart, took back to local store and was told to send trainers to head office for inspection, and they would decide if a problem really had occurred. This would have to be done by registered post at my expense not theirs as they don't have a free delivery option. if I bought these trainers from a store surely they are legally obliged to deal with the problem locally. The cost would almost GE same as buying an on other pair of trainers. If I had known this policy, I would not have bought from this company.

Would not buy from them ever again. Nor would I recommend them to anybody unless you wish to use and throwaway.

Please don't pay extra for next day delivery as it didnt arrive customer service is useless payment taken off card still no trainers

Don't Pay For Next Delivery

Ordered boots online for husbands Xmas 18/12/12 paid next day delivery £5.99.Concerned when not received by 20/12/12 and went to local Yodel depot as track ref. said 'possible problem at local depot' but they could not locate parcel,depot disorganised,very young staff.9 emails sent to supplier (as no tel no. on website)which just kept refering me back to the tracking no. with above message each time.Finally received boots late afternoon 29/12/12.Shame about the delivery as boots were good value.Should change courier.Wonder if they will refund my delivery charge!

Not Very Helpful Staff

I recently visited my local JJB sports to get a swimming costume, there was a lot of choice and the sizing guide was confusing. No one was around on the shop floor to help with my queries so I thought I would just try them on. Again no one was about and all the fitting rooms are kept locked.

I know all of retail is having a hard time and have made cut backs on staff but this was ridiculous.

Anyway, found someone after walking round the whole shop, to let me try stuff on and when I popped my head round the door to ask if they could grab me another size they had gone!

Just a pain really as I had to get changed into my clothes to them grab the other size myself.

Stupid Service

Ordered an England shirt for my dad for Father's Day on 5th June. A full week later no money had been taken from my account and I had not been informed of it's dispatch. So I tried ringing customer services. As soon as you get through to the option needed it hangs up. So I emailed the company requesting to cancel my order since nothing had been processed yet. However instead of cancelling my order JJB processed it and I was ultimately charged and the item dispatched, too late for me though. Now I need to find out how to return the item! Wouldn't use again, will always search for Sports Direct instead!

Still Waiting!!

I pre ordered two liverpool home 2012/13 shirts. They were released on June 1st and i still have not received them. Partners Birthday has now passed. I have e-mailed on a number of occasions to which i have had no reply. I have a phone bill with ten pounds worth of calls to them but have yet not actually been able to get through to anyone, phone cuts off or im on hold forever! So a month later i have no order and im 100 pounds down! Not sure where to go from here!!

What A Letdown

Ordered a football shirt online on 3rd June. In stock special offer at £25 including delivery. 3 working days it said. After 11 days, I rang the customer helpline, and after 2 menu choices, the call hung up, several times. rang the order line and spoke to an operator in seconds. She gave me another number which went to answerphone. Did get a call back to confirm order not fulfilled, out of stock, when will I get shirt? Don't know. So, as shirt was a Fathers Day gift, order cancelled. Went online to JJB site tonight and Shirt availale at bargain price of.... £38:99

Thank you JJB online, but no thanks. What a letdown, what a shambles, what poor customer service.

Unfortunately Sports Direct Beats Them Hands Down

I like JJB Sports. I like Dave Whealon, the owner and chairman of Wigan FC. I like their public image and I used to like their stores. However, the company has gone downhill and now is not in the same league as Sports Direct- particuarly on line. The website is quite nice to look at but a bit of a pig to navigate. Plus they're often out of stock on items you want.

Sports Direct is cheaper, delivers more efficiently and has a great range of products. That's a shame because I dislike Mike Ashley!

Articles Paid But Never Delivered And No Answer From Them

Articles paid with Maestro but never delivered and no answer from them!

I bought several tennis clothes (1x polo, 2x tshirts) with Maestro but it has never been delivered, status says "in process - shipped" but never get a tracking number and send them 3 reminders with no answer yet!

Anyone who can suggest me how to get a refund and where to report the fraud?
