Premier Artist Maple Ltd. Ed.

I have recently got my hands on a premier artist maple kit and I have to say I am extremely impressed. The finish is beautiful mine is in Rosewood lacquer and is real eye candy but the sound is even better. Even using the everplay heads it came fitted with the sound was warm and broad but after I changed them for coated pinstripes on the toms and an evans emad on the bass the sound is explosive! I can't fault this kit. I have been a drummer for many years and always played Pearl up to now but in my opinion Pearl have become overpriced and thats why I decided it was time for a change. I am really glad that I did. The only downside I have encountered was that when I began to make enquiries about adding an 8" tom the cost was to my mind a little excessive and they ask you buy the ISO mount separately but I have found a way around this so I'm happy enough! I was curious because I am old enough to remember the problems Premier went through when their hardware particularly tom holders were notoriously unreliable but when I viewed this kit those worries instantly vanished. I would highly recommend this kit, get out there and try one and I am sure you like me will be utterly blown away!!!
