I agree with comments over delivery and Internet misleading, but that is also down to user not checking fully, it's in their small print - but when I spoke with the I had no issues, dealt with professionally and would definitely use again. I'm surprised at such a low overall score they have been given.

I Wish I Had Read The Reviews Before I Made A Purc
I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase from Laskys. I purchased a oven early October an given a delivery date mid November, when the appliance didn,t arrive I phoned their costomer service only to be told they sorced the oven from comets and now would not receave it,
I thought Laskys had warehouse,s with own stock, it would appear they are only agents, I found their c/service unhelpful I will certainly not give them my custom in future, I have learnt a lesson from this event only to deal with online shops that hold their own stock

Terrible Customer Service
I ordered a washing machine from Lasky's. When I first click order, I was told it could be delivered on a date a week from the order date. But by the time I had got to choosing an order date, it was two weeks ahead. Although the front page of the website says ALL deliveries are free, I saw that actually many days WEREN'T free. So I chose a Wednesday (free delivery) and rearranged my work days around it. The Tuesday before the delivery day, I was called up to say, actually, it won't be delivered until the following Saturday. I called up and expressed my annoyance that they should have told me more than one day in advance and to confirm that I wouldn't be charged (Saturday being the most expensive delivery day). The woman said they didn't charge for delivery. I said they did. She laughed at me and said they didn't. I later emailed customer services to make a complaint - no response. After the delivery, I needed a receipt for a Samsung promotion I wanted to take advantage of. I called up, they said it would be with me the following Monday. A week and a half later, nothing. I contacted customer services, no answer again. It's been more than three weeks since my delivery and I still don't have a receipt, not even a response from customer services. I'll never be using this company again.

My husband lost his job.its hard gor me to just throw money away .i did not recieve my delongi toaster which cost me 52 pounds.on the day of the delivery i got an email saying they wete out of stock which was 12 day later.im so upset i could cry.iam not rich..very poor and struggling.this behaviour is disgusting.they should be reported

Having purchaed a samsung laptop from Laskys online, I waited a week for delivery.
After missing the delivery date by 3 days, I called customer service. They said it was in the hands of the courier. Still not received. I'm calling them tomorrow to request a refund, not looking forward to that process at all as I know it will most probably be a long winded one!

Credit Card Payment Problems
Ordered a PC, payment declined - bank thought it might be a fraudulent transaction. Tried again after clearing it with my bank. Order accepted. 2 minutes later, got an email cancelling the order - no reason given. Contacted Laskys who told me my billing details didn't match my bank details. Emailed them again pointing out the transaction had been authorised by the bank, and where were they getting this info? No response.
Now ordered it from a different supplier. Won't use Laskys again - poor service, lack of information.
Laskys are apparently a subsidiary of Comet. Since Comet are now no more, I guess Laskys are also defunct. In any event, their website www.laskys.com is "temporarily not available", so ni info I'm afraid.
Do you have a phone contact no for Laskys pls. Have a vacuum cleaner that has broken and cant find a contact details. Would appreciate any help you can offer pls.

Never, Ever Again, Steering Well Clear Of Laskys And Comet.
I will start by saying I have not shopped at Laskys since, and never will again. In fact I have warned people I know against spending money with them and comet.
I tried to order my boyfriend a netbook from their website, it was on offer at a good price and said that they had some in stock. However when I tried to purchase it the website had a fault, so I had to wait till the next day.
In the morning I tried ordering by phone. I got through to the call centre, which was so noisey me and the customer service adviser could barely hear each other, which in part I think did not help with how the conversation progressed.
After going over and over and OVER the details, the customer service adviser placed my order, stating that they had them in stock and that it would be delivered, brilliant! Sounds good, they are about to take my money, but its twice the price! No,no I say, its supposed to be this much. To which the advisor says, "Oh no! I put in the wrong colour, sorry." So I wait another 15 minutes while they restart the order. Only to then tell me, that the one I want is no longer in stock. Great! So I asked, "so do you know when you will get some in? It's a birthday present." They tell me they cant say when they will be. So I am a bit worried and ask "but your company will be ordering some more?" they reply they cant tell me exactly what date they will come in, "so does this mean that your company are trying to get some back in stock?" again they tell me they can't tell me what day they will come in. Totally not answering the question but what ever. I should have stopped bothering then, the man was unhelpful, kept getting my name and order wrong, but the price seemed so good, so I placed the order. (time spent on phone 45+ minutes)
And waited, and waited, and waited, the birthday was coming up so finally after hearing nothing I called up their customer services. When I finally got though, they got my name horribly wrong (despite me spelling it 3 times down the phone), why they thought my name could possibly be a swear word I don't know. They also told me that they weren't getting any more in and that they would give me a refund. Brilliant! Why they couldn't have contacted me to tell me this I don't know, instead they held onto my money for a month and a half until I contacted them! In the end I had to shop else where and didn't get the money back into my account in time to buy a netbook prior to his birthday.
Waste of time and effort,customer services were rude, didn't care and didn't listen to any thing I had to say.

They give u a date for a delivery but change it but don't tell you they have wasted a whole day waiting not very happy with their customer care team would not use again AVOID if u can spend a little more money and buy elsewhere

HI ALL ORDERED OVER £1000 POUNDS OF GOODS END OF JUNE WAS TOLD DELIVERY WOULD B ON 16/7/2012 STAYED IN ALL DAY NO SHOW NO PHONE CALL NOTHING AS I TOOK DAY OF WORK MY SAVINGS ON PRODUCTS WAS NOTHING I MIGHT AS WELL BOUGHT FROM LOCAL STORES AFTERCARE ABSOLUTLY RUBBISH DONT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE
Great Service
I purchased 2 products of Laskeys costing me a discounted total of £730.00. I was very doubtful when reading these reviews but Im very risk-taking so I took the risk. So on the delivery date they arrived at 3:00, and they were really nice, and advising where to place the products as we had just refurnished the kitchen, Great products, really satisfied. The products very amazingly in strong packages, and the fitting men have easil fitted the products. Definitely recommend.
