The Hoebridge Inn, Melrose

The Hoebridge Inn is a very impressive restaurant, with an excellent choice on the al a carte menu, and a very good value for money menu midweek.

Service was friendly, professional and efficient. Nicely furnished dining room.

Surprised to see any negative comments. We have visited the restaurant on several occasions over the last 2 years, both with friends and by ourselves, during our holidays in the area. We have always found the service, and meals to be of the highest standard and we look forward to visiting again in 2009.

Very lovely, atmospheric restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Presentation, temperature and taste of the food/dishes were excellent.

French coffee is advisable.

Despite Melrose has other restaurants, we did prefer to eat there twice.

We do hope, once to visit the restaurant again.

Service was good at The Hoebridge Inn, the decor was lovely with a friendly atmosphere. However, food was very poor and a disappointment, the sauces were not up to much, very tastless. The soup was very bland as was my pasta. I would not recommend eating here.
