Very Disappointed - Say No To Yes Insurance

I had around 13 years no claims bonus. When I went with Yes insurance they did say they go up to a maximum of 9 which is fine I thought - it just means that they do not offer any more discount after 9 years. However when I came to leave they will only give me a proof of no claims of 9 years. When I called them I asked if they could not write something saying that I provided the proof of no claims and having been with them a couple of years and not claimed my no claims is now x amount. No they cannot do that as it is their policy......I asked if there was no-one at a desk that could rattle of a letter in a word docor an email. No apparently not and even if there was they would not be able to because it is not their policy.

If you have a decent amount of no claims AVOID THEM as you will just lose several years no claims because of their procedures and through no fault of your own.

Gutted, they should have made this clear at beginning, I would have paid maybe 7 quid more and not lost all those years no claims.

Did nopt find it user friendly to get my documents either. Waste of space this company.

Robbing Bastids

Tried to change address on my cover only for them to up the price considerably and told me to mail my old policy back to them as proof of cancellation so I would get refunded.

Fat chance of this happening with these muppets.

They claimed they never received the policy so they couldn't refund me.

Filed a claim with the ombudsman and only got partially refunded but couldn't bother chasing the still owed money by these robbing gits.

Never ever again!

Don't Trust Them...they Will Lie To You

I have been waiting for a compensation check from this rogue organisation for over three months after a prolonged dispute with them. Do not use them for anything! You will regret it! My next recourse is to the Finanacial Ombudsman Service where I suspect most of their customers end up.

Dreadful

Last year I was paying about £680.00 fully comp, my renewal came in at £1300.00, The lady said that the first payment had been taken. This renewal was unacceptable so I asked for a new quote for 3rd party fire and theft, Just over £1000.00. I cancelled the policy and then got hit for cancellation and other rubbish. STAY AWAY FROM from Yes Insurance, I will never deal with them again...

Dont Use!!

Beware they will automatically renew your insurance and bump up the premium by £500. Then ask for a huge cancellation fee to stop it. Scandelous!!

Yes Insurance Do Not Use They Are Con-men

I have a few vans with various insurance companies. I was furious when I called yes insurance to add an additional driver to be then told it would increase the policy by 200% when the same driver put onto another van policy only incurred an admin fee of £40.00.

I cancelled the policy immediately and found another insurer Auto net van insurance that were cheaper than Yes insurance by 300% even with the extra driver. My advice is DO NOT USE YES INSURANCE THEY ARE RIP OFF MERCHANTS

Absolutely Awful!!

Shocking customer service, when asked to change my address (to a safer area where the car would be off the road) they actually tried to charge me £116 extra even though the admin fee for changing details is only £15. They don't let you speak to a team leader, don't return calls and are generally unhelpful. I wish I'd paid a bit extra and gone with a decent company

Beware.......disgusting..........beware

Went to cancel my van insurance because i sold my van. So phoned them & said could i please cancel my insurance as i have sold my van. The person on the other end off the fone proseeds to tell me that to cancel my policy it will cost me £341. Because they want me to pay for a whole year. What a joke. She also told me if i buy another van today then i can change it over from old van to new van. Told her i wasnt getting another but she told me there is nothing she can do i have to pay all or wait till my renewal date. Which is april nxt yr....

Completely Dishonest

Do not use this company, they may come out cheaper but are a bunch of scam artists. We got a new car and wanted to change the vehicle documents. We went from a Q5 to an A6 estate car same engine but less value, they came back with the excuse that our insurance company now deemed the new car a high risk and would not insure us, instead they offered us a new deal at £1200!! an increase of £600!

DO NOT USE!!!
