I Always Buy The 8 Pack Butcher's Choice Classic C

I always buy the 8 pack butcher's choice classic collection in pouches in either the jelly or the gravy as they are the only one's he'll eat, he's a very fussy parson's russell. But he won't eat the purple pouch so I save those for my daughter's dog. Well more often than not now the pouches have been coming in a plain silver foil with no description on them saying what flavour they contain or neither the best before dates which I am sure is illegal. As the outer box is sealed you can't see the inner packaging till you open it. The last ones I returned to Tesco and exchanged them but now it's getting too often...

I Wasnt Keen On Wet Food, but Recently My Year Old

i wasnt keen on wet food, but recently my year old pup had five baby teeth removed,so i found bucthers puppy,as it was painfull for a few days to eat,now a few days has turned into a few weeks, hes not in pain...hes enjoying having a quater of the bucthers mixed with his high quality dry food which works well because,he now finishes his food and has a routine.the other end seems fine too,not to soft,so far so good,so four foil cartons last for 8 days, one divided into 4,lasting two day feeds, not bad at £2 a box.

Butchers Superior Range - I Have A Always Owned Ge

Butchers Superior Range - I have a always owned german shepherds and they can be really fussy eaters who have problems with food allergies and dicky tums. My new pup is the 1st one to be fed on this food and not only does he love it but he can tolerate it as well. A big plus for me as I clean up after him! There's no soya and the meat pieces look good. It's a bit on the pricey side but I think it's far better quality than anything else I've tried. My dally loves it too.

Bought Some Of This Food When We Saw It On Offer I

Bought some of this food when we saw it on offer in Tesco's for £3.00 and what a find. Before my boxer would pick at his food over several hours however now he won't leave the bowl until it's been licked clean. I use a mixer due to him being a large dog and he is more than happy to eat them with the gravy from the tin.

At Last A Canned Food That Doesn't Contain Cereal.

At last a canned food that doesn't contain cereal. Cereal allergy in dogs is far more common than people realise and finding a food that is completely cereal free is hard. Most at least contain rice. This food is high in meat content so has a comparatively good level of protein and much less carbohydrate than your average tinned food making it a healthier option. The rich tastey smelling gravy is ideal for adding to biscuit to make it more palatable.

A perfect additon to use as a meat with a mixer as there is no cereal, so you aren't doubling up on carbohydrates (makes fat doggies). Also great for improving palatability for those fussier dogs we know!

Q&A

Hattieboo

I'm hearing such bad reviews about dog food I'm wanting to feed my 8 week old puppy the best I'm considering cooking fresh meat and veg for her but don't know if she would get the necessary vitamins from this. I have just been looking into Butchers dry and wet food and it does seem favourable with no additives or grains etc. Would you recommend this or is it no better than the others?
