Have been in the IT business for 25 years and came up with an issue I never encountered before. I contacted support and OMG, it was sorted within an hour. the support technicianj that sorted it all in only 3 emails was a very helpful person going by the name of Jithin, not sure the nationality, but that does that matter, he knows his job, and more to the point he sorted my issues within an hour.

I have had numerous support dealings in the past with UnitedHosting, and always been pleased by their rapid turnaround and eagerness to help.

However, they were so on the ball when my website was recently PHP injection hacked that I am compelled to write up how impressed I was. Even though the issues I was facing were nothing to do with UH, within 20 mins of my plea for help they had blocked all IP's to my site, allowing me to investigate the issue, and then they diagnosed the back door being used to upload cuckoo files to my site (several thousand in total, almost 1Gb of garbage).

After restoring my entire site from a known safe backup, they then allowed just my own IP access to test it all out, and happily changed it when my dynamic IP changed.

Every email I sent was replied to within the hour (often within 20-30 mins).

After I had finished hardening my WordPress site (never leave it 'as is'!) they promptly restored all IP access.

Excellent and prompt support, exactly what I needed in a time of trouble.

i moved over to united when someone recommended them to me and I was sick and tired of the poor support at a bigger host. United moved my site and email over and now i can call or email and always get a helpful response to my problems, most of which are my fault! Good guys to host with!!

I have tried a few hosting companies like 1&1 and heart internet but they really could not seem to keep my site online. It felt like whenever I checked it was down. I decided to spend a little more on a unitedhosting account and it seems to have made a big difference. My site is now faster but more importantly it is always working so my visitors can always find me! On the few times I have phoned support they have been really friendly and helpful. Really do recommend this company to anyone who is frustrated with their current hosting.

I had been with my last host for nearly 6 years watching support and performance for my site get worse and worse - decided to make the jump and after lots of reading and a few calls to united I gave them a try... why did I not do this sooner? Support have replied to all my requests in about 2 minutes flat, they moved my site without downtime and my site is now over 70% faster according to webmaster tools - 10 out of 10 to united - TRY them!

I've been hosting websites with United Hosting for nearly 10 years.

Their support team are absolutely fantastic and always go the extra mile when problems arise. They are defintely more than value for money.

The fact they do not advertise, and rely only on word on mouth for growth, goes to show how good they are!

I made a mistake. I have one account with UH already and decided to set another one up for just a domain. I DIDN'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Contacted Sales Support because I figured a refund would be best. Sales worked with Tech Support, merged my two accounts and mapped the DNS for me. I could have done it, they didn't have to do it, but they did it.

I'm also grandfathered in to a good plan that I had with a company that UH bought out. At no time have I been bothered by any of their team to move to their plans, and I'm very happy where I am.

Full support, all the way and so friendly and personable when dealing with them.

I've been with United Hosting (Reseller hosting package) since October 2012 (now April2013) having transitions partially from Hostmonster and partially from 1&1. They are a breath of fresh air, extremely helpful, supportive and their turnaround time for even lower priority tickets is pretty much immediate. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've had an issue (due to a lack of knowledge on our part) over the last 24 hours and United Hosting have bent over backwards in helping me resole and also giving me some guidance on how to approach similar problems in the future.

Top three: Knowledgeable, excellent customer service and patient!

I will continue to transition all sites over and ditch other providers because they don't even come close on service.
