Dunster Looked Dead With The Exception Of The Live
Dunster looked dead with the exception of the lively but discrete window of Reeves Restaurant. Went in straight off the street with no reservation. Lovely meet and greet; very well informed; good menu. You're at the seaside and the menu has seafood! There are far bigger better brighter towns and cities that could learn here.

Attracted To Reeves Restaurant By The Ambiance, De
Attracted to Reeves Restaurant by the ambiance, decor and sunday lunch 'roast rib of beef' special on offer. This was eye wateringly (hot horse radish) delicious. The beef was superb, vegetables cooked to perfection and excellent value for money. I had a very good glass of house red, a French Merlot. We wish we had tried the desserts which looked fantastic, (as they travelled past to other tables) but were short of time.
Service excellent,ladies loos beautifully appointed.
Fantastic and highly recommended. If I lived locally I would be there every week! (we are from west sussex)

Food To Die For. I Will Remember My Wonderful Fish
Food to die for. I will remember my wonderful fish pie for years afterwards and I can still remember other individual dishes that I've eaten here. Zingy tasting creamy desserts. Spun toffee... Light batter....No idea how they get carrots to taste so carroty, and mange tout to taste so good. This place is run by a husband and wife team and they obviously put a lot of effort into making it a good experience.
Polished wood floors, and bare wooden table tops. Individual fuffy towels in the toilet with an interesting mirror reflecting tiny lights.
