Can't Deliver Goods

Purchased table and chairs in June.table delivered damaged and now 7 weeks later they informed me that they cannot replace the table.i now have £800 worth of chairs and have just had to pay an extra £200 on top of my refund to get a table that matches. Table was on offer when I purchased from Scott's which would be brilliant if they could replace the damaged one. So thank you for costing me another £200 and thank you for the promised phone call from one of your managers that I have not received. Will never use this company again. APPALLING

Call It Customer Service????

After not receiving an order placed 2 wks ago & with no communication I rang to chase it. The CS lady left me 3 times to look into the situation, came back & spoke to me twice for 1min in the 20mins I was left holding & then cut off the call. I called again, a different CS person answered & when I asked to speak to manager was told there wasn't one there. He then proceeds to tell me that my order was never in stock but I was never told this. I asked him to ask manager to call me next day, he said he'd email them but couldn't guarantee they would.

I cannot believe a lovely shop like this let's themselves down by their online shop and customer service department.

Appalling Customer Service And Rude , Ignorant Staff

I really wish there was a 0 rating because 1 is too much. Aside being sold something that didnt exist - i have just had the misfortune to be shouted down by a cutomer service operator - i cant put the name but it begins with J and rhymes with Bez! someone who is clearly in the wrong job 'customer service'. J%# not only talked over me for most of the call, accused me of shouting and being rude but then laughed at me. This was the 3rd customer service person, the other 2 said they would call me back but didnt - its just a game - they have no intention of calling back.I would do my utmost to dissuade anyone from buying from this dreadful place.

I ordered Bergman stepladder on 19th July 2023. Was given order no

and told delivery in 7 - 10 days.

but received no confirmation email.... Phoned 8th August to check order status. Told it was not in stock and had been sold out.I would now be refunded my payment !!

Asked when would be back in stock and they didn't know !

Received another catalogue on 10th August and step ladder advertised less than half price.

Extremely disappointed.

Shocking

My Mum ordered a pair of shoes which due to poor sizing didn't fit so they were returned and a cheque was refunded pity it bounced !!! So another cheque was promised suprise still waiting weeks later can't get through to customer services stupid music on a loop but nobody answers the phone avoid this company total sham

Ignored Data Deletion Request

I requested this company to delete all data held for my father (87 and disabled) and to stop sending him catalogues. They have several brands and actually made up most of the post my father was receiving.

They did not delete his records.

Now my father has ordered an exercise bike - remember he is disabled - and is now defeated as he has no access to internet and cannot organise the return.

SHOCKING and I believe in conflict with data storage law.

Unusable Chair

We purchased a "handmade" chair from Scott's which too 7 months to arrive.

We have used the chair for 5 months hoping it would improve, no such luck.

The chair is a buttoned wingback model, loo,s attractive, seems reasonably well made but is utterly unusable due to it being completely unergonomic, the most you can sit in it is 30 minutes before being forced through discomfort to get up.

The chair is still being offered for sale by Scott's and I advise anyone who is thinking of purchasing one to go elsewhere.

We will sell this one or give it away as it is absolutely useless.v

I purchased a lamp for my 92 year old mother. Mum got COVID so didn't tell me she wanted to return the lamp until after the 30 days returns policy. I contacted Stows and received the most shocking email in return explaining the 30 day policy and telling me I wouldn't be happy with their response! What a suprise. If i had read this site earlier I wouldn't have purchased anything from Scotts.

Avoid At All Costs

Luxury Loft Mattress topper. It's far from luxury. A waste of £99. Do not buy it or anything else from this awful company. After 2 nights the topper lumped up, formed a dip on each side and a high central ridge. We had to take it off the bed to try to even out the stuffing. It made no difference. We rang to complain but got short shift from the company. They made no attempt to resolve the issue, apologise or provide any refund. That I think, says it all. You have been warned!

Disappointing, Misleading & Unhelpful.

First time customer .

Ordered product 5 th March . States delivery within 3 days . After placing order tracking says there will be delays due to covid and government restrictions . What government restrictions ? , they have all been lifted .

I called customer services today (12th March) as tracking states that delivery should have taken place by 10th March .

Couldn’t get through when choosing option to enquire about an order but by choosing new order got through immediately. Obviously only interested in dealing with new orders and not dealing with queries . Worst thing was the person who took my call said I should re dial and choose the correct option. I asked why they couldn’t look up my order . After a lot of huffing and sighing he agreed to look up my order , albeit begrudgingly .

I was told it was now with whistl who had to then pass it to Royal Mail who in turn had another 10 days for delivery . What happened to the original 3 days as promised on their website? As for customer services , really unhelpful , bordering on rude .

The whole ordering process , tracking and customer services has been shambolic .

After this order , I won’t be ordering again .

Really poor impression for a first time customer .
