Love It

We have always been made to feel very welcome. It's always the lady owner who greats us and takes us to are table. The food is well priced and defiantly cooked to order. I love the lobster ravioli Its so full of flavour and a good sized portion I would eat there there every day if I could.

Casa Gabrielle

This fabulous restaurant was the best way to spend our evening. The food was excellent and the service was also brilliant. Everybody enjoyed their meal and we would definitely return. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was quiet as their weren't that many people dining but it was a bit early.

Casa Gabriele. This Was The First Time We Had Been

CASA GABRIELE. This was the first time we had been to this restaurant, but have always wanted to visit after a glowing review in the local press a while back.

It was a thursday night and we had the place to ourselves to start with.

I had the mussels to start with and my fiance had the pate, The mussels were large and plump in a rich sauce that you can soak up with the bread provided and the good portion of pate was smooth and came with enough toast for the portion. Main courses did not disapoint either with chicken supreme with ham and emmenthal cheese and fagottini chicken stuffed with spicy sausage and cheddar Veg was well cooked and reast pots were crisp and fluffy. Deserts followed and a bottle of house white all for £65.00 well worth it considering the excelent quality of the food. Service was good without being intrusive. My only gripe was that there were paper napkins instead of cloth. Best meal out we have had in a long time...

go there.

I Went To Great Thought To Pick A Resturant For My

i went to great thought to pick a resturant for my wifes 50th in aberdeen and this resturant did not dissapoint. As soon as we entered we knew it was going to be good you just get thaat vibe about it .The staff very friendly

and it was totally relaxed .We were not rushed into choosing what we wanted from the menu and they made sure that everything was ok and asking if they could do anything for us .The food was to die for from the starters straight

the menu to the dessert ,and the portions in each course was perfect.and It was value for money and i will through word of mouth pass on how good this resturant is and will be returning here in the near future. My wife was

thrilled with the place and helped make her birhday a night to remember.

Icant thank the staff enough and told them i would be doing a reveiw on them . keith

I Was Really Suprised To Find The Reviews Below!

I was really suprised to find the reviews below!

I went for the first time yesterday with my boyfriend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The waitress and Maitre-de (owners wife?) were helpful, suggesting shortly after we sat down that we might prefer to move to a window table as they were not so busy (it was a 4 seat table), which we did.

The food was excellent - I had the Strozzapreti Gamberini, a dish I haven't previously seen outside Italy - OK so it wasn't handmade pasta but the prawns were amazing and it was all in all a good meal. Only downside that it was slightly pricey in my view.

We had a chat with (I think) the owners wife on the way out who was friendly and helpful, the place also had a lot of Italian diners, always a good sign at an Italian restaurant.

We Went As A Party Of 10 Early July. We All Though

We went as a party of 10 early July. We all thought the food was very good, my main course of chargrilled fillet with pepper sauce was buonissimo!!!!!! (lol) The staff was friendly and helpful and with the restaurant fully booked it created an all round lively atmosphere. Definitely would recommend to all my friends! will be back very soon!

I Grudge Giving Even One Star For Quality Of Food

I grudge giving even one star for quality of food and service of this restaurant. The young waitress was the only asset to the place as she was polite and friendly. Everything else was horrific. My boyfriend took me out for our anniversary dinner to casa gabrielle and I ordered Penne Napoli Gamberia and the dish was swimming in oil. There was so much salt in the sauce i felt physically sick. I politely asked the waitress if i could have a different sauce on the pasta or even have some of the oil drained out of it. She apologised and brought over the maitre'd who said i could not have anything about the dish changed as that was the way the sauce was 'supposed to be'. She was incredibly rude and made me and my boyfriend feel very uncomfortable. A grumpy, defensive angry old fat woman. This restaurant is an absolute disgrace to italy. One word - DISGUSTING.

Myself & My Daughter Went For A Business Lunch As

Myself & my daughter went for a business lunch as had been given good reviews in local paper. What a disappointment! We both had carbonara which when it came looked okay but tasted like macaroni cheese and had cheddar cheese sauce instead of parmesan cheese, as you could still see the unmelted cheddar cheese in the sauce which very quickly became thick and gloopy.

Once of the worst italian meals we have ever tasted. Never go back.

The Worst Meal I Have Ever Eaten In My Life. Servi

THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE. SERVICE IS THE LOWEST OF CLASS. ORDERED A £10 CHICKEN AND HAM PASTA DISH WHICH WAS THICK AND GLOOPY LIKE BABY FOOD WITH ONLY ONE TINY CHUNK OF CHICKEN AND THE CHEAPEST SOGGIEST HAM. NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN I WAS EMBARRASSED WHEN I HANDED BACK THE ENTIRE DISH. THE WAITRESS OFFERED TO GET ME THE MANAGER, TO WHICH SHE CAME BACK AND TOLD ME THE MANAGER SAID MY FOOD WAS FINE AND SHE WAS NOT COMING TO SPEAK TO ME. THE WAITRESS APOLOGISED EXPLAINING THAT THE MANAGER DOESNT LIKE GETTING COMPLAINTS AND IS QUITE STUBBORN AND BELIEVES THE FOOD IN THE RESTAURANT TO BE BETTER THAN ANY OTHER ITALIAN RESTAURANT. I PAID THE FULL BILL AND LEFT FEELING ANGRY AND DISGUSTED. I HAVE TASTED BETTER TINNED RAVIOLI AND HAD BETTER SERVICE FROM A BURGER VAN

Attended Casa Gabrielle With A Group Of 30. To Be

Attended Casa gabrielle with a group of 30. To be fair in a large group you expect slower service but took 45 minutes for order to be taken and 2 hours from arrival until the maincourse. Food mediocre and overpriced. Service not good, attended to by several staff, unfriendly with no technical waitressing skill, unproffesional. Matrie de arrogant and rude.

Last straw for me was lack of table clothes or place settings, electric pepper mill and obsessive wiping of the table inbetween courses, not what you expect for almost £30 excluding drinks!
