Do Not Use This Company
I highly recommend not to use littlewoods. I ordered a tv Thursday night, payed next day delivery to get it on Friday. It's now Tuesday and still not received my tv so have been without a tv since Friday. Rang to see when it was coming and they couldn't give me a delivery date so told them I want to cancel and they weren't bothered and didn't try to find out when I could have it delivered.

I Ordered Last Friday, Was Told It Would Be On Wed
I ordered last friday, was told it would be on wednesday. didnt come left it thought id give it a chance! On there website they say they contact you if it cannot be delivered, NO they didnt!! i can understand the weather but says on there website my area is not affected. Was guaranting christmas delivery told it would be here monday!- just cancalled order. So annoyed as now i have to go out and buy items. Staff are rude and chavy need training on how to told to customers!

please be aware do not shop from Littlewoods
for the first time I shop from Littlewoods September this year
they send kids butterfly bedroom package for my daughter's birthday, soon as open the boxes notice bed with damage side panel, call them immediately, advisor told whiten 10 working days I will have my damage part as they can not replace the all bed, 10 days letter noting arrive, I called again they said sorry we will re order it another 10 working days, noting happened call again they said sorry we don't have the part now, we will replace the bed for you another 10 working days, as I don't received the bed till now I call them today, and they said sorry we don't have the bed or part I need, i spend in total over £600.00 for the bed alone £169.00 they offer me 10% discount £16.90 for the damage useless bed or option to return it, with no replacement as they don't have the bed anymore.
I explain that I got the kids butterfly bedroom package including rug, wardrobe, cabinet, curtains, duvet, design my room according to butterfly package, take the all items, replace or even repair the damage part, answer was no sorry.
so from my bad experience with Littlewoods I am advising anyone not to trust Littlewoods and shop from them

I Decided To Get A Dress For My Christmas Party Or
I decided to get a dress for my christmas party ordered on friday. the delivery was suposed to be monday no such luck. wednesday i gave them a call it was at scunthorpe depo delivery by 7pm that day. thursday i called up again still no delivery i was told that its still at the depo and wouldnt get to me by the following tuesday the party is satday so i have canceled the order and NEVER shop with them again.
If you shop with them make sure you order a year in advance.

Don't even go there
After ordering a new TV which was late arriving. Then husband had an accident 2 months later and was off work (first time ever) being self employed the shopping insurance i took out is no good what so ever (so beware of that pitfall)
So as i couldn't pay the full amount, I always paid something even if only £50 a month i got charges for not being able to pay the full amount. This was £12 every time so even though i have paid for the TV i STILL have £99 worth of charges to pay.
My advice is check the shopping insurance to make sure you are covered, the customer services are rubbish and are no help at all, will not even take any charges off.
Never again I will stick with the next directory who were brilliant even though i only owed £60.
So forget Littlewoods shop at NEXT instead

best internet store. if you know how to shop online that you will find a really good use of this website. however not happy with delivery company (they are using home delivery network). on my birthday delivered my own purchased present 3 days later( i selected to be delivered on exact day, so you pay more) saying that couldn't find the property when a week earlier they delivered to me with no problems, another time they didn't bother to ring the bell or leave parcel with concierge (I mentioned them to leave at reception). but the website by itself is excellent.

It Took Me Over A Month To Find The Right Treadmil
It took me over a month to find the right treadmill which had everything I wanted and for the right price. So far, Littlewoods Direct is the only company I found who offered free delivery. I read all the reviews on this product and I agree that you must be very careful that you don't sever the cable that connects the time and distance display unit on the front of the treadmill.Dynamix Motorised Treadmill is an excellent product and value for money. So easy to assemble, a few bolts and ready to use. A little noiser than anticipated but can live with that and very heavy, needs two people to lift if using it upstairs.I have a Dynamix Cross Trainer as well and it is great value for money so very pleased so far.

I Am In Dispute With Littlewoods Direct Over A Bro
I am in dispute with Littlewoods Direct over a broken dishwasher. It broke (and leaked all over my laminate floor which had to be taken up and re-laid) within 6 months of the machine being delivered to me (purchased on 17th Jan 09, delivered on 28th Jan 09 and I reported it broken on 22nd July 09).
Littlewoods Direct (Shop Direct Group) are refusing to give me a much requested refund and will only offer a repair through the manufacturer, Hotpoint. The engineer tried to repair it but said that he didn't know what was wrong with it, and he proposed ordering some spare parts to "give them a try" (they were out of stock) and to try another time to repair the machine. Meanwhile, I read up on my consumer rights and realised that under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 section 48 A & B it is the buyer's choice as to whether I require a repair, replacement, discount or I can choose to rescind the contract. I want to rescind the contract and obtain a refund. Littlewoods are refusing to give me my money back.
As I had purchased the machine using a Halifax Visa Platinum credit card, I called them and they recommended I write to Littlewoods saying they have 3 days to refund the money or they would take the matter up on my behalf. Unsurprisingly, Littlewoods did not return my money, instead they sent me a letter saying that as the item was purchased on 17th Jan the fault can't have been inherent therefore they could only offer a repair. I know from the Sale of Goods Act that the 6 months time period counts from date of delivery so I know that they are wrong.
I sent all the information including copies of letters and dates of phone calls etc to Halifax Visa expecting them to help and received a letter from them within 2 days saying that they "have now exhausted all options available and therefore recommend that you continue to pursue the company to try to reach a satisfactory conclusion". I clearly cannot find a satisfactory conclusion on my own. Now I don't know where to go to for help. Is it true that when a dishwasher breaks within 6 months of it's delivery from the shop the customer must be forced to have a repair? I am refusing this route as I do not want the clearly defective machine leaking and ruining my floor again.

The Worst Company I Have Ever Had To Deal With. Th
The worst company I have ever had to deal with. They advertise Buy now pay later scheme - two months after I have the product they decide to inform me that due to an error on their system they should never have offered the item on that scheme and are now charging me 46% apr, and that I am two months in arrears on payments.
Having contacted Littlewoods Direct customer services, no less than four seperate managers comitted to resolving the situation however not one of them ever phoned back as the promised.

Undoubtedly the worst web retailer around.Thought I'd bought a cooker in their sale with three day "express"delivery- even have the confirmation receipt and emails to prove it. Having not received any information further regarding delivery, duly gave them a call. Turns out my order was not processed because I had paid up in full, apparently going through the Verisign process is no good for them and the system could not cope. Know let me think they don't get any interest off me, so not their type of customer (ie no profiteering on high interest rates) from those less fortunate. They even had the nerve to try and suggest i buy a model £200 more than the one I believed I had ordered as the original was now out of stock (strange because it is supplied direct from the manufacturer). I Have Been Let Down By Littlewoods Direct,i Order
I have been let down by Littlewoods Direct,i ordered some little items for my kids and as it was for the first time i thought i do it on there flexible account way.The grand total came to £121.00 its not a great amount but i thought well why not spread the cost a bit.I never had a cataloque before so i thought there wouldn't be a problem but i was wrong they turned me done.I have got a debit card and they still refused me.We have been living for nearly 14 years now at the address i gave them.So i phoned them why and what the reason was for turning me down and they could not give me a answer why they turned me down.They should check first before sending these cataloques out.I did not ask for one of these littlewoods book they just send me one.From now on i just go to the shop and get my things.
